  1. I have several Palmer BX boards (Titanium and Carbon Circle) that I go back and forth between hard boot and soft boot carving. It varies with the conditions for the day and who I'm riding with. Using Bomber Sidewinders with soft bushings (yellow) with hard boots and Bomber Power Plates for the soft boot set-up. I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised and feel it was worth the effort to find a hard boot set up for your F2.
  2. CFJ04, Would you mind sharing what the RT sold for as I have one that I would like to sell, but not sure of the value. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hey Matt, I would like to take a set of sidewinders off your hands. Sent PM. Paul
  4. Resort employee: "Wow, I haven't seen one of those in a few years (Coiler Nirvana). Me: "That's funny, because I see one every day".
  5. Bought my first snowboard at the Vail ski swap in '90 and had no idea what i was buying. It was a Kemper 170 with very little scr. It was like turning an aircraft carrier, but that didn't keep me from trying to keep up with my skier friends on black bump runs the first day out. Pounded! Hooked on it ever since.
  6. My personal carving bubble varies, with the size increasing proportionally with the steepness of the slope and the potential speed of a straight-liner.
  7. PC, BC groom was really, really good this morning. Got out for a handful of runs before going to work and didn't want to leave. I have your number and hope to see you on Saturday. Paul
  8. Was wanting to join you pc, but after hearing this report, glad I didn't waste my time.
  9. 53, still carving and grinding the coping.
  10. Board Received and packaged nicely. BTW, could you tell me if/how much the edges were beveled? Thanks Matt!
  11. Thanks osb, I am NOW officially starting to get excited about the upcoming season.
  12. At Steamboat the previous weekend with my son for his slopestyle comp, and afterwards wanted to check out the mountain. We rode the gondola up and while looking at the runs below, he said he wanted to "bomb that run to see how fast I can go". I told him that he could download the ski tracks app, which he did. The run was completely clear from top to bottom with a long shallow run-out. I met him at the bottom and he showed me stats on his phone... 130kmh, which equals 80.78mph on a frickin DC 154 MLF park board. Clearly a mistake to have encouraged him.
  13. It was a good day and I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Beaver Creek. Wished I could have come out for another day (next time). You are an impressive carver, even on a powder day.
  14. There is no free parking in the Village... $20-25. I will be parking in the West (Elk) Lot on Hwy 6 and Prater Road and taking the bus up to the Village. Just looked at the weather report and your right, looks it will be snowing all day. Hmmm... that changes things up a bit. What will you be riding?
  15. The Beav was amazing today with half the runs groomed. I'll be there again tomorrow (12th) if you are interested in meeting up.
  16. I am interested in meeting up with you on the 12th, though still trying to sort through the family's weekend schedule. I should know more tomorrow.
