  1. I never said a word to the skiier he was 2 rows over in the lift line. But I did have 3 skiiers with me that day that can confirm the comments, they got a kick out of it.
  2. This was a new one for me: "Man that dude has a long teleboard, and someone should tell him that he has his bindings on incorrectly. I'd like to see him ride that thing.... Comments after being off the lift: "What the @#*#$ are those for turns...." and that is all I heard... I was with some skiers on a 195 that day. I get such a kick out of clueless people on the slopes :D
  3. Holly Cramp, we where just with him last week and John mentioned about entering that the teleboard race after just having tried a teleboard last Tuesday for the first time. John I hope you recover soon:) . I'd head out there tonight, but I am on duty with my 6 week old son.
  4. sorry can't make it some of us need to work Hey, Bob you planning going to Wah on Wed night? Bring me a cd of the footage you took.
  5. looks like we are going to have a good crowd of trenchers tomorrow. I'll have be dig carmera with me. Gilmore any Madd demo's for tomorrow????
  6. Yeah, I heard about Bob's custom fire Donek. I guess he was working on building some custom rocket engines to keep up with the rest of the carvers at Wah Wah. :D
  7. Fritschi is a Swiss company that is well known in Europe for both ski and alpine bindings. When I lived in Europe I rode on Fritschi bindings for over 10 years. They where one of the better bindings i rode with the exception of Catek's and Bombers. I am not sure if Fritschi bindings are sold in the US. http://www.fritschi.ch/[/url]
  8. no go tonight, but doing Sunapee next week. Would be interested in car pooling if we can meet up right off 495 some where or Worcester area, plus I'll need some body for the 2 for 1 deal. :)
  9. Bob I can't go this week, but I know that the rest of the crew should be there.
  10. Willy I really don't care where we go. Mt Snow is 2 hrs for me, plus there's at least some steep stuff there (North Side). We'll have to start an email and see who is up for a day trip next week. Bob, Ben you guys up for a day trip? Never been to Ragged, does it have any steeps, I don't just want to be on blue all day.
  11. Klauke, your ride on Wed nights right? I purchased 4 items on ebay.de and recieved all of them. I had them shipped the cheapest way which is ground/boat which can take 6-8 weeks. I am fluent in German, which helped when dealing with payment. Most of the German ebayers are not familiar with PayPal and do wire transvers for payments. This is easily done in Europe, but a whole different ball game for internally payment. PayPal would be the easiest way, but I have also had to sent Euro Certified money orders for payments. It all depends on how willing the seller is to ship to the US. Make sure to ask before bidding.
  12. Hey guys there is a group of us that rides regularly on Wed nights. Bob I work for Fidelity in Smithfield RI, so we could easily hook to ride together. We also talked about duing a day trip mid week next week. Bob, Ben, Willy I'll need to know in advance what day you guys want to plan this. I was thinking Mt Snow, with 3 fill ups at Mobile you get $10 off a ticket.
  13. Ben, you've got a good point. At this time I am entertaining offers of ECES riders that are interested in meeting Big Red :D . Bidding starts at $100 per night;).
  14. Jeff I have a pair of Burton Physics bindings that are in great shape with the cant disc that I would sell for $50 (shipping included).
  15. Man things could get out of control at our condo at ECES this year. Ash is staying at our condo with 7 other guys. Ash should we bring dollar bills with us????:D By the looks of things we might have to charge a cover to get into our condo....
  16. kalalex, I tried emailing you via your profile, but you have it locked for emailing, give me a shout at geoffkara@msn.com Here's a pic of the rack, it is still in get shape. The reason I am selling it is because I upgraded to a box. I am asking $65 for the rack assuming that shipping will be around $15. I prefer PayPal for payment. :)
  17. Guys I am hoping to hook up with you all next week, that is if my little boy isn't up all night and my wife is refreshed enough to let me carve for a few hours. She knows that I'll go crazy if I can't rip some turn once and a while.

    Plentiful Hardboots

I've had some great luck over in Germany, since I know the German fluently, if I can't find what I'm looking for in the US, my 2nd spot to look is ebay.de. I have bought 4 different items in Germany over the last few years. I just picked up some AF 700's used once for $180 and paid 30 Euro's for shipping. As long as the seller is willing to ship to the US, always ask that first before bidding. Payment has been more of a problem, most people don't use PayPal, plus the site is only in English. I did send out a Certified Check, but you'll have to up the cost, they get hit with a fee to convert and deposit the check. If any one needs help translating, I can help out.

  21. Thanks Bob, I forgot about that place. No bambino yet. My wife's due date was yesterday.....
  22. I am curious as to what type of footbeds work for folks in there thermos. I don't want to go down the custom route or on the expensive side. Thanks
  23. Starting Gate and Out of Bounds are the only shops in New England that I am aware of that carry any type of carving equipment, (Out of Bounds doesn't carry hard boots). They are carrying the Deeluxe and Head hardboots. There was a theard that had a link to the site a while back. Your best bet is Bomber or the classifieds on bomber.
