Hunter was unbelievable. I rode Wed thru Sun and it was like being in Utah... The BC was terrific, first time it's been really good in about 10 yrs. Coiler Freecarve is great in everything. Can't believe the snowbanks and drifts, Begs the question, Why don't I live in JH?.... Wow.... what a week
  7. Let's all get over the who hit who crap... Pay attention and realize that schize happens. Who amongst us hasn't screwed up?
  8. Last April at Jay Peak.. In the woods and bumps having a great time. All of a sudden my head is on the right side of a tree and my board on the left, chest kissing same tree. Broken ribs or badly bruised ... hurt for months.. Don't remember falling... friend has video
  9. Fat boards are definitely easier in pow. However, if you ride the board flat and remember you're not carving , nearly any board works well. I learned on a 167 prime, and I love my Coiler FC 178s in tight trees and pow. Think about learning to ski or ride in pow. I still have nightmares about those days. 2 ft of freshies in Targhee and my skiing friends and wife having way too much fun at my pathetic riding and impressive crashes. Trying to turn too soon and riding my edges... I definitely got the last laugh.... but it wasn't that day!! Speed is your friend...
  10. Orange jacket...and a coiler red flame am. I am very cautious when carving in soft snow
  11. Which run did you in? I was out all day and the mt was incredible
  12. What is this thing you call "lower mountain"?
  13. JH has good groomers off of Apres vouz and the Casper chair. Off Thunder Chair hit Grand and Amphitheatre. Outstanding woods and steeps everywhere. The Mrs should love it cause you can hit tough exciting stuff and she can go mellow. You can meet at lots of trails in between and the lifts. Easy hook ups. My wife loves the place and has since her first year of skiing. If it snows, go to Targhee. GT is lots of fun but the drive is not worthwhile to me without the freshies. Snow King is an awesome, very steep local hill. They sell 1 and 2 and 3 hr passes. Arrival or departure days are great for SK. Go up the main lift, check out the liftline and feel your pulse go into overdrive. It's an amazing local hill. Last year we finally ate at the Blue Lion in town and were blown away. Have fun.... Don't know how you can avoid it in Jackson
  14. They were sold Sunday.. Thanks for your interest
  15. I demoed the teleboard a couple of times. I felt it was fun, but I didn't want to spend the time to get good at it. I didn't think it would compare to carving boards
  16. $400 - picutres available on request
  17. Fluffy... I do laugh every time I see his board and jacket
  18. Ron's a great guy and loves to ride. Fluffy seems a lil defensive.
  19. Who cares about chat page bravery? Why the hurt feelings? Why not continue posting and lose the rabbit ears? I don't know you, but you seem to have people that like and respect you. Get over this! No more wahhhhhmbulances...
