  1. Over the years I've broken 7 or 8 bails. However I am 220 lbs and ride a lot. A friend of mine replaces his bails yearly. Cheap insurance considering the ugly alternatives
  2. my email is cwshuster@yahoo.com
  3. This year's model. Used a total of 6 runs. The liner was baked once. It doesn't fit. $440 plus shipping
  4. I never have had any boot problems in the past. It really annoys me that I will have to do these Rube Goldberg fixes. Spending 500 bucks for boots and having to do all this is stupid. I really feel ripped off by Deluxe.
  5. I see what you're saying. I think the smaller straps will still leave me having to tighten so much that the boot still overlaps... The same problem. The upper shell/cuff just seems to be too big. When the liner was molded we used the original setup. No extreme tightening. I appreciate your input and hope you have more ideas. thanks
  6. I bought the 700 t and it's a fine fit for the lower foot. Molded the liners and that's all great. Unfortunately the upper boot is huge and doesn't get nearly tight enough. We moved the metal on the black strap back to the furthest hole mark. Still not close... Michelle told me it has been a problem some/many? have experienced with these boots. She suggested I move the teeth back cause it's worked for others. The problem is that I had to move it back an inch. This prevents the boot from closing without having to cut off a bunch of the the boot that comes together under the top buckles. Before I do any surgery and blow any opportunity to have any return possibilities, Yes, I know that they say if it's molded it's mine. I'm looking for similar stories This seems very strange and I was wondering who else has had this occur and what you did. The inner markings on the upper and lower boot are consistent with the 29. BTW... I don't have skinny calves or ankles. Thanks
  7. I love them trees... However... Be aware http://telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=42410&sid=
  8. I always use thermafits and custom footbeds. I just don't know what partially means. Is it as good as fully moldable liners? I am also tough on equipment... How easy is it to get replacement parts for the boots?
  9. Thanks.... My concern about the strato is the liner.. What's the deal with the partially moldable.
  10. I want the boots to perform well in both areas. It's needing the bump flex without sacrificing the carving
  11. I weigh 225, ride at Hunter every weekend, Use a coiler FC 178 And AM 177... 19 waist .. love to carve... never race and hit the bumps at every opportunity. Does anyone of comparable size and riding choices have experience with the 700s.. the 325t or the Heads. I have looked at reviews but no one seems to match size and style. Thanks
  12. I love Plattekill. But only on powder days. They are a small family owned area. Very limited snowmaking.
  13. Powder blows everything else away for me. However, doesn't anyone else love powderbumps slushbumps and non ice winter bumps?
  14. We all screw up sometimes, but bottom line is to cover your butt... If I get hit and hurt it doesn't matter who was at fault.

    COILER for sale

I am interested in the coiler free carve. Can you email me at cwshuster@yahoo.com. thanks
  17. I'm a hunter rider and replace my back bales every season. I broke 4 back bales in 3 years. I'm also using the Bishops for teleing and expect them to last a long time
  18. You are reacting very strongly to a simple throw away line. I ski and ride at Hunter because of the excellant terrain and their commitment to outstanding snowmaking The insults came my way very quickly and w/out cause. Big Mt. Envy is something you should look into:D
  19. Windham?!?.... Are you really truly serious?
  20. We have to be really careful. Busy or semi busy trails are not for big carving. ;) Adjusting riding style and turns to all mt conditions are especially important for us. It is totally awesome to ride empty trails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
  21. Weekends are really tough to lay em out. Too many people, we make wide turns and often don't see all around us well, and most people never come in contact with great quality carves. As I hate to wait for large wide openings, I usually don't carve hard on weekends and live on the sides. Bumps are lotsa fun!!!
  22. Is there a good reason not to buy td2 stepins and pair them with td1s. Stepins for the back binding. Thanks
