Where were you guys today? The snow was great over on your favorite part of the mountain Pebu, but it looked like I was the only one tracking it up back there. Saw a few other hardbooters. One was on a yellow ultraprime in some bright orange snowpants, and the other was a female teaching her daughter to snowboard. She was riding what looked like an old burton factory prime demo board very similar to mine. I'll be out on the hill tomorrow for a little while. Maybe I'll run into you then. The weather was fantastic today.

Come down to Crystal mountain on Sunday and you will find a few of us.

Yeah I heard that on the radio on my drive home. Those cops blocking the road were pricks though. No help getting around it at all, just "oh yeah, it's going to be a long time before the road opens back up" Nice riding with ya Pebu, I hope you figure out that binding problem. We didn't see you out there Clebner!?? I figured I'd see you head out on the hill early since I was sleeping in my jeep in the buck lot until the hill opened and then I rode buck for a while. Oh well, maybe next weekend.

Yep, sunday and monday are my days off down here so thats when i can hit the slopes up there...

Hey I saw you on the hill on Sunday. I never got a chance to run you down though. I spent a lot of the day on skis because I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago and it seemed to hurt less to ski than board. Hopefully I'll run into someone out there this year eventually...

Hey guys, I made it for sunday and monday but man did those conditions suck. I spent more time going through all of my equipment and putting new edges on all of it and waxing everything than I did on the hill...Oh well not every weekend can be the best. Sorry I missed everyone out there.

You think I can't do it in soft boots??? Okay well maybe not any more, it's been a few years since I rode that set up. I wasn't up last weekend because I had work related things going on down here on my days off, but I will be up Sunday and Monday this week. Hopefully I run into a hardbooter on the hill instead of just seeing one leaving as I'm pulling in the parking lot this time.

What happened pebu? You not able to get out there as much as you want to? The first days I will get to be on the hill will be the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Hope the snow is good when I get up there.

Hey I didn't make it up there this weekend. In fact I haven't even brought the boards out of storage yet. Plan on getting up there the 27th and 28th and then the 2nd, 3rd and 4th for the Teddy Knape film fest that Saturday and a few more days of riding. Sounds like a good time Pebu. Carefull on cheers though, I got rocked by a b-liner there a couple years ago. It's so narrow with the nastar course and the terrain park now. Hopefully when I'm up there I will run into some hardbooters

No school right now, just work tuesday through saterday in ann arbor. So i will be up there most sundays and mondays. If you find me on the hill take the time to take a few laps on the lift with me. Thats what i've been doing with every hardbooter i run in to and the advice that has been shared with me on the hill has been the best advice i have recieved. It helps to be able to see the riding and talk about it right then and there

Well if you are going to teach her how to stop, show her how to sit down. No matter how fast you get going you can pretty much always just sit down. I'll be out there soon, not sure if anyone saw my post earlier this year but I have a pass so I'm going to try to be up there a lot, sundays and mondays mostly. I won't be making it this weekend but hopefully next weekend I'll be there. Pebu you need to start hanging out on the front this year, try ripping up something with a little more pitch to it.

None that I have found so far. In fact most of them don't know what you are talking about if you go in looking for alpine snowboarding gear. And then again if you bring a board into their shop they all look at it like its some space age technology. What is it you're looking for that you think you may be able to find in Michigan? I've met the majority of the people who ride alpine gear in the state, maybe I can send you in the right direction if you aren't willing to work off of this web site.

BJC I use those with ski boots. They work great but you've got to get them adjusted just perfect in order to not release, but still be able to step in to.

So who all has a pass this season? I will be up there as much as possible. It'll probably be a sunday-monday trip for me when I am able to go though because of my current work schedule. Are we going to have a lot of carvers on the hill this year? I hope we have a chance to all gather on Buck and have a good time like we did accidentally a few years back.

Well I started out being serious, but then I decided I would make this more fun by being way more ridiculous than I had planned on. Thanks for the entertainment. I wish I had the ability to head out east or out west to meet some of you and learn from you. I guess I'd have to go out of the country to find a bunch of you.
