  1. Wish I was down there. Sounds like fun with 3 other hard booters. Last season one day I was on the hill there were 8 of us all together lapping buck, that was definitely the most fun I have ever had on the hill.
  2. I've never had anyone at Crystal give me too much trouble about the ruts except Skip, and he was just messin with me when he said something. At Mt.Brighton though, I actually had ski patrol yelling at me, and then they brought the groomer back out and re groomed where i had been. When does Crystal close down for the season anyway?
  3. Thanks for all of the advice and knowledge. I assumed the fix would have to be shorter screws, but I figured I would see if any of you left yours alone and put down some sort of rubber on the board or anything. That one spot was the worst of the bunch, none of the others actually punctured the board but I'm afraid they might. I knew these things had a lot of flex, but I thought they would have been designed so that did not happen. The white under the binding that you can see in the picture is some sort of rubber, and so is the yellow, but that is way too high in the binding to be meant for contact with the board.
  4. Thanks for the input. So one more thing, what should I fill that hole with?
  5. Oh and do you know if those new bindings available here are comparable enough that I might be able to get the proper length from Bomber or at least what the length should be?
  6. I did pick them up used, but I've used them on several different boards and never had this problem. All 8 screws are the same length, I figured that if something had been replaced, only those would be different, any chance someone can check their Burton bindings with this toe and heel set up to see if the screws stick out at all?
  7. I pulled my bindings off the board to find this: I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and maybe what you've done about it. I know the cause was my Burton bindings, the way the toe and heal connect, the screw goes all the way through and sits just above the surface of the board. Is there a way to prevent this other than replacing the screws with shorter ones?
  8. woops, what i meant to say was saterday. i didnt make it on sunday either. that picture was from saterday, thats the blue jacket i mentioned i would be in.
  9. Wow I have no idea who took that picture but that's me. I was out there all day on Sunday. Looked like someone had torn up the north face but I got out there after they were gone. Was it you out there Pebu?
  10. Sounds good pebu, I probably won't look like you remember me except for the helmet. Zipper broke on my jacket so i'm back in old gear. If it's warm, i'll be bright green, if it's cold i'll have a blue jacket on.
  11. I was talking about this coming weekend. I'll be out there for sure at least one day this weekend. But I have no idea when because i'll have to get a ride from someone. I'm coming down from Houghton and getting dropped off at my families place up there.
  12. yeah i sent a check out already.
  13. I've met a whole bunch of the people in that video. I might be down there the weekend after this coming one. its the first few days of my spring break and crystal in kind of on the way home so i might stop
  14. nah that's okay. i talked to him on the phone, seems like a good guy. people need to trust eachother every once in a while.
  15. i just sent a check his way.
  16. gary, i called and left you my phone number on your voice mail. i don't usually buy boards without seeing them, but i really want this particular board so i'll take it sight unseen. if it is possible though, a few pictures would be nice. thanks Rob
  17. I sent you an email, let me know if you didnt get it.

  21. haha sounds awesome pebu, wish i could have been there. now just take those turns to buck. thats where it gets crazy fun.
  22. hahahaha, yeah im in hancock now. i guess i should change that. i need to just start living at crystal mountain over the winter because its a lot of fun carving there. ripley is like the anti-alpine board terrain. i feel like im at a slightly larger, steaper, narrower version of mt.brighton when im at ripley. oh well, ill make do with what i have and learn to carve on the narrow stuff.
