  1. Ne peut pas attendre de les essayer sur les pistes
  2. Possible "sick day"(s) on my calendar, wanted to see what other people are interested in these dates as a meetup? 22nd Feb 23rd Feb 24th Feb 29th Feb? Will go pending if snow is still on mountain creek, I hope so since the ground hog saw shadow. :-)

    Cheap boards

They will work with any 3 hole Burton binding. Aka plates that support 3 hole conversion plates, etc. Catek has these but depending on when you got the binding you might need to purchase newer plates (universal plates). The Burton Strat rides much like an Burton M6 of 1993, just more forgiving because it is a non-asym in my opinion. Good all mountain with plates. The Burton Coil rides much like a Factory Prime but has small tail so the edge area is a little less grippy in my opinion. Coil is a sweet board, with nice sidecuts. (Mad I noticed this one late) Cheers
  4. BUMP... I am still waiting on #1, if not... I will buy them tomorrow.
  5. Burton's tend to feel narrow. Same issue with my Fires. If your a wide shoe, I would recommend the half or full size up.
  6. Voytazbrna, Let's discuss potentiality "sick days" when you get back. I am happy to grab the boards I have and meetup during the week since I have a shop pass. Just wanted to check that everyone interested would be hard booting. :-)
  7. I am interested complete if ktm162 is not.
  8. Interested if the first person does not buy.
  9. If you guys have an idea on an evening maybe I can catch up then. I just work in the city so it hard to get the evenings in. I do work from home so I could try to meet up during the week. I was thinking the same thing about getting a good sized group to carve down MT Creek. Seeing another hard booter on the mountain is a rarity, I would also love to try out different boards and not have to go to the Rockies or Stratton to do it. Maybe we could get a specific date setup in advance?
  10. Saturday was an amazing Spring Day at Mountain Creek. The Center mountain was a bomber's dream (Hardly anyone on it). Only bad spot was were the trails crossed between mountains because you would get the "skidders" going over to South Mountain for park riding. Zero G was an Ice sheet and allowed for you to work on your ice carving skills. :-) I was amazed how many skidders were bombing it on their bellies. The Newbies I had with me did well, some even asked about the old Alp and F2 I was riding.
  11. I was riding a 1993 PJ 6 (about 10 runs a year, since 1993), now riding an Alp 5.6 1997. I have a Burton Elite 150 sitting in my board closet, but it is a POW only board. East Coast Snow has be poor, so no ride.
  12. I am looking for a perfect carving Snowboard. Is anyone interested in parting with their Swoard or Kessler Cross? I am 175 pounds and about 5 ft 9 inches. I normally ride a F2 RS 184 inch, but I am looking for a more carve tool board. My F2 is frustrating to ride in Crowds, it likes to go fast. Looking for a board to slalom between the sitting snowboards and ski crashing moms. -Mark
  13. Those of you that ride on Saturday mornings, I am heading up this saturday (jan. 28th) with a crew of newbies. I will be at the mountain by 8:30, looking for a carve mate for the first few runs before I have to teach. -Mark
  14. Ping looking for a pair of Burton. Bindings to put on an old FP aysm.
  15. Thanks looking forward to the boots.
  16. I think I am sold on getting one for my bro, but which would be a good general boot to start on? Which would you say is better for free carving verse a stiffer racer setup boot? Thanks in advance, -Mark
  17. Interested the person I am buying these for has a wide foot. He is a 28.5 -Mark
  18. Looking for a cheap pair of hardboots size 28.5 for my brother. He has been a soft booter for years and now wants to try out the way of the carve. He is a full size bigger then me (he was the milk man's kid) so he can't really use my boots and swap the liners on my Burton (narrow boots). Not sure if he is going to pick up the hardboots, so as long as the boots would last a season I am interested. Budget is $50-80 plus shipping. Side note, if you willing to loan me the boots instead I am interested. I am happy to pay shipping, etc. I live in New York so if you need a zip to calculate shipping it is NY NY, 10036. Thanks in advance for all offers.
  19. I have PM you, let's talk turkey.
  20. I have ridden a few PJs since 1993. The PJ takes a specific style of rider. If you like to flat out your board this is the worst board, it would catch an edge 90% of the time. The front to back foot style this board loves with the asym edges is amazing once you find your balance on it. But if you liked S-ing down the mountain in any condition (ice, packed, moguls, etc.) except POW (you need to adjust your bindings back for pow) this was a sweet board to ride. I found the older boards had more aggressive asym angles. The younger boards tended to be more forgiving with a lower asym angle between the toe and heel. If your a heel & toe rider that enjoys high G carving these boards were sweet! Great Flex and to this day I still argue they are one of the best carving boards. Carving is about Style, these boards have a TON of style.
  21. I am interested, currently using Burton Fires but they lack a Soft transition when doing deep carving. I find the Fires are good for Racing but not Free Carving or Extreme Carving. Can you describe the difference between old Burton Fires Boots and Raichle 125? Thanks in Advance.
  22. Thank you everyone for the emails and post. I found a pair of Burton Fires to replace my Burton Winds. You guys really rock. I am now upset winter is over... Hope to meet some of you next winter. -Mark
  23. FOUND A PAIR Looking for 27-28 size mondo boots my old burton winds got stolen out of my cabin in catskill NY. I am size 27.5 mondo. Really loved those Burton winds, but will consider other stiff hard boots for extreme carving.
