  1. Thanks for the update jtslalom. I will be on the hill tomorrow morning till 12:00. I will pack my rock board just in case. Hope to do a few runs with Mike.
  2. What year is this board?
  3. .biz instead of .com... It was a DNS battle that we won later from a prior hosting company. .biz was purchased due to .com being held by prior hosting company.
  4. Ralph, I will be there Thursday around 9:00am.
  5. Check the Ride Boards. We have been pretty Chatty lately. :-)
  6. This is starting to be like a Group for posting, maybe a Facebook group would be of interest to everyone how rides mountain creek? Here is a group I started up, happy to make others admins, etc. https://www.facebook.com/groups/256060551135998/
  7. First off I have a F2 speedster I bought from NWBoarder and I love the board. I think it's a 2001 or 2003. 176cm and I love the board particularly to piss of the new school snowboarders that think they know what fast is. Stable platform at 60mph and solid edge surface. But my only beef is it needs slightly thinner waist maybe .5 cm to give it the turn arch I want for an all around fast/carve board. The F2 speedster is still the Forumla One board, maybe I should look at a Porsche version of a carving board like a Swoard or Donek Carver?Unless someone can present a big change from the speedster shape of 2003 compared to the 2010 shape? Otherwise I will wait till my current Speedster's base needs to be retired. Thanks everyone and best of luck to the bomber selling it on EBay.As for the ocsnowboards.com it's my local shop and I am the web admin. We are in Orange County NY. Sorry for the confusion for those in Orange County CA.
  8. I will be at the Mountain Creek Thrusday next week. Might be Soft booting thou.
  9. I saw this post on eBay: (overpricedBay) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220905256673#ht_500wt_898 Comments on this board and binding deal?
  10. I am not sure my stiff F2 Speedster could do that Tower #4 360. I kinda loose handling at 10mph or less how would you describe your flex on your BX? I will give it a shoot next Thursday, when I take my boss to the hill.
  11. Mountain had good coverage, till noon. We dug some deep trenches on Sugar and had fun getting compliments from the instructors and newbies alike. We should have some clips coming.Rain Drizzle was on and off during the day so the ice spots generally became crud.
  12. Looking forward to tomorrows morning run. Thanks for the Report Sic t 2
  13. Hey jtslalom,I am "Sick" Wed barring the weather is warm so I will be on the lifts as soon as they open. I am also planning to try to do Sunday morning this coming week. Would love to hook up. me (at) markgrob (dot) com since we can not PM on this Forum.
  14. Nope SOLD to me.On my F2, going to test them next weds-thurs at mountaincreek.
  15. I will be Sick from Work next Wed or Thrus. Anyone interested in meeting up for a day of carving? I can bring a board or two to try out (everyone likes trying the F2 184cm). I will be there when the lifts start (8:30-9:00). Till 2:30-3:30 in the afternoon. Ping me via PM if you are interested.
  16. This is why Carvers need to be in packs. Like the Hell's Angle's motto "power in numbers". If you were with at least another Carver you have not experienced that. "Jib Punks" are really wimps and try to pick on the odd person out, because they are not liked at school.
  17. Why South? South Mountain = ignorant skateboard kids that can only sit in front of a feature, hit/jib the feature and repeat. Most of them can not carve or even turn for that matter. South gets my goat because people get pissed when you try to actually be fluid down the terrain park. It's the "you cut the lunch line" mentality. To boot, they great really mad when you show them up and your twice their age. :-) or better yet your Burton Air is older then them. Side confession: I ride an Ardor Draft too.
  18. Well I figure in a few weeks I will have a sick day from work to check it out.
  19. I am looking for a BTS Spring Kit (Blue ideally) for Raichle 125 Boots. Ideally if you have a pair of backups springs I would be interested in purchasing them. Bomberonline is sold out, as long as they can last the remainder of the season I am interested in them.
  20. Hello And welcome to my profile. I have been snowboarding for a long time. I think 12 years old, I was making marine board (plywood) cutout snowboards to ride back hill on my family sheep farm. Around 1993-1994 I fell in love with the PJ 6 my friend sold me after he did not like racing in hard boots. Since then I have been an extreme carver (found out this is what it is called now, I called it G-Carving) getting stoked off the Gs in the deep carve.

  21. Since MTcreek, NJ appears to be short of the snow belt, I have been looking at weather reports of Plattekill (NY) and Big Bear (PA). I was considering taking a trip to Big Bear (1 hour from Middletown, NY). Comments on this resort? I like extreme Carving so resorts with steep trails with wide trails preferred.
  22. I spent four plus years riding Whiteface with my PJ (College Discount at PSU). My favorite Carving run is the following: 1 - Riva Ridge 2- Cloud Spin 3- Lower Switchback (if open, else 4a) 4a- Lower Skyward 4b- Victoria 5- Victoria Shoot (Stop and take summit quad if you find you are tired) 6- Upper Valley (Great for showboating deep carves) 7- Lower Valley (Great for showboating deep carves) 8- Take FaceLift back up. Wilmington Trail or Hoyt's is great too, but I tend to prefer a Twin on these trails. Since I find on a good day I spend my time in the woods. :-)
