I've never been to Blue, I'd like to check it out.

Well, I have a partial power plate kit available if you're interested. I ended up using some of the kit as a second board kit. Right now the kit consists of power plates, 1 zero degree cant disk and red rings. You're gonna need center disks and another cant disk. Email me if you're interested.

I dont but I'm thinking about it. My second time out this season i slipped on ice mid turn and went down. Less than a second later, I got nailed from behind by a straight lining skier. The skier ended up taking the brunt of it and had to be taken off in a sled. Still scared the crap out of me. Thinking about investing in a back protector at a minimum.

Im down for Sunday. Bring on the snow!

I must've missed you. I was there Sat and Sun. Sat was not very good, especially on Raceway. Lots of bare spots and hockey puck sized chunks of ice. The best snow I could find was on rhododendron glen, especially where the snowboard team trains. I was sneaking on when they broke for lunch and when they wrapped up for the day. Sunday was much better. Camelback blew a ton of snow overnight in addition to a little bit of natural snow. Let's hope the weather holds up.

United is the worst with baggage. I've never checked in snowboard or ski gear before, but I was once charged $260 in baggage fees. Good thing work payed for it. Sometimes its easier and much cheaper to ship items to your destination.

Second in line

Booked a room as well for Friday and Saturday. Planning to get in early evening on Friday for a little bit of night ski, attend the rally for Saturday, then shoot up to Stratton for Sunday. Can't wait!

Ha! You're being way to generous... unless your talking about Teach. Might be going this sunday morning as it tends to be pretty empty on superbowl sunday. I'll definitely go next weekend as well.

Anybody going to give CB a shot this weekend? Or is it a wrap for the season? Forecast calls for mid 60's and sunny. Webcams are looking pretty dreadful.

Last weekend at my local mountain, a teenage softbooter in front of me in the lift line takes a glance back and notices my setup. Softbooter: "Hey is that thing hard to ride on these narrow trails?" Me: "Its not to bad once you get the hang of it." Softbooter: "I was in VT a couple of weeks ago and there were a whole bunch of guys riding those boards on the mountain" Me: "Stratton?" Softbooter: "Ya! It was the first time I've ever seen it, but those guys were tearing it up." We ended up riding the lift up together and the kid was genuinely intrigued with hardbooting.
