It looks similar to what they have on Atomic shaped skis except this is air filled instead of foam. I think They call it Beta carve Technology. I think it provides some dampening and pressure distribution benefits A la conshox. Not really sure if it works or is needed. But certainly has a high techno weenie factor

Thanks Fin The hard part is the the back part of the conshox all four screws pass through from the center disk to the board. When you say flat do you mean the top? I will check the bike shops and hardware shops for M6 bolts.

Does any one know what size bolt is required to mount the rear TD2 center disk to a F2 board with conshox? I ordered the M6 x 18 from the bomber store but it isnt even close. It has to be at least 24 or so long. Does any one know where to get the bolts fast? I was hoping to ride my new setup this weekend Thanks in advance

Man I just had a few mountain creek experiences this weekend. I was carving some turns with another carver (Mike Savin) and I had several very close calls during the day. Mike was saying he had been hit a few times ridding at mountain creek. I guess people are not used to seeing carvers and the way we move combined with the overall level of inexperience. Some ass rode right over my new coiler AM on its first day out. :( I will be very weary on future visits. I usually ride faster that most others but will be getting used to looking uphill more often. Hey JTslalom how often do you ride mountain creek? Its like 30 minutes from my Job.

Damn, This post scares me. I had shattered my front ankle due to an early release of my rear foot on a set of F2 proflex bindings. I just got a set of TD2 step in's and have been ridding bomber TD1's with retrofit kit for a while now with piece of mind. Are there other people out there with Intec failures?

Jerry I am openly weeping right now sitting in my cubicle. Its 55 and raining over here back east. I miss the days when we used to carve 100 plus days for years on end. Of all of the places I have ever been SV is the one of the best for carving when the conditions are right. 3000' vertical feet of perfect grooming, constant pitch combined with no crowds. First impression was not good but it definitely grows on you. I like it alot now. The interior is sweet with very clean lines.

That 400$ deal is still valid and a student pass as I recall was around 200 bucks for bogus. I am actually not too bummed about the lift ticket prices at the mega resorts as it is a fact of life but what really gets me are the weather patterns on the east coast. I am having a hard time adjusting to it from a winter sports perspective.
