  1. Yup. I will take them. PM sent. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  2. Do you know the mondo size of the boots? If it is 28, I will take them. Let me know. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  3. As Bobby Bug said. The bending at waist often happens when riding at steeps. Instead, rider needs to bend down rear knee to lower the center of mass. Take few video of riding at steep run and see how you turn. In my case, I learned it hard way (folded nose and planted my head number of times), especially on fall line favored decks. 4. Here is my princess at Shawnee resort, PA few weeks ago. Taught her again last Sunday. Then, she was able to do 'falling leaf' Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  5. Yup. Already done that with file and buffed. I ordered the Marine G-Flex epoxy to prevent any water to get in there. Now I wonder if this modification of nose shape may change ride characteristics on bumps/crud.. maybe easier to cut thru, instead of going over?
  6. OK Done. Last photos with 158. I only have quick dry epoxy so i didn't apply yet. I will apply slow cure epoxy on the cut area tomorrow and will do test run shortly if any changes, which I doubt. Thank you all for input, concerns, and humors. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  7. I am leaning toward to cut it off. As Big Canuck said, I am waiting Sean to comment on this job. Any last warning before It become a hammerhead Madd 170? Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  8. Kurt: it's. A non metal board. lowrider and Kurt: it's Madd 170. Yeah Kurt. It's the one I got from you. The tip of the pointy nose got a ding yesterday. Came home and looking at the 170 next to 158, and after seeing Shred's new deck nose design, hmmm i am considering the cut instead of repair. Saw few DIY splitboard instruction. So I just use a circular saw to cut and sand the cut area then epoxy. Easy? Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  9. Has anyone cut the nose of board to be more square or round? I have a pointy nose freecarving board that got a small nose damage. It is a minor ding but I wonder if it can be cut to be more squared or round. It is a camber board, no decambered nose at all. The edges start well behind (about 8 cm) from the tip of the nose. So I wonder if I can just cut at 3-4 cm to be more squared or round. Has anyone done this before and if has, how?
  10. What a condition today was! Packed Powder. As grippy as it can get. Although it was first day for this season, se7en got his groove after few runs and made nice arcs. Started on SnowPark and met Mugika2. He came all the way from Richmond to ride with us. We took him to see how he is at. He was having tough time to ride on edges due to his current deck, 180 GS. After putting 170 Madd under his feet and few tips, he was carving nicely. Dave, first of all, I almost couldn't recognize you with your new look if you weren't on the long deck. Nice clean shave. You looked 10 years younger. And sorry for leaving you all alone. I was working on newbie to join WT crews. :) and my son was with me today too. Andrew told me that you were riding Tanker afternoon with new fashion. Totally missed that. Oh. When I was explaining how to drop the body to de-camber on the lift, you blasted down right under us with leaving deep ruts. He got it right away. Thanks. It was a great day with carvers. 10 to 4. Longest riding in a day for this season.....so far. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  11. Dave, I and se7en will be there Friday morning. Hope to see you and other hardbooters. Snow condition will be epic after yesterday's storm.
  12. Thursday or Friday, depends on school closing. It will be epic after tomorrow's storm.
  13. SOLD. Thanks. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  14. Bryan, Thanks for the info. How's the MLY board characteristics? Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  15. I would like to sell this boots. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?40981-WTT-for-US11-M29-Malamute-boots I decided to use softboots just for POW. So I do not need these extra stiff boots. I'm thinking lightest boots with moderate flex (like ThirtyTwo) with easy enter/release bindings (like Flow maybe?) Boots are US10.5/M28.5/EUR45. For reference. my feet are 28.4cm / 28.2cm in length and find these boots tad small on length. Not that unbearable though. I wears M28 UPZ RC10 for hardbooting Shipping would be little hefty since its size. SOLD!
  16. As always, nice riding Gerald, Much stable on 185, compared to last year's videos. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  17. it seems the seller is Jay Westerverd, admin. of "HARDCORE Alpine Snowboard Racers and Carvers" facebook group, since he posted the Nitro board on the FB group page. I noticed he does not like BOLers or recreation carvers.
  18. Check out Excellence Snowboard at Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/excellencesnowboard
  19. Not this week. A weekday after MLK day, like Tuesday or Wednesday. I will post here when it's near. Hope WT blow some snow over-night for you. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  20. Has anyone heard from Pongratz? Sent text msg twice but no response so far. Sent from mobile device using Tapatalk
  21. Removed the heel plate and this is what I see. The T-nut under the crack is fine. It seems the base plate cover is made out of plastic. If I recall, didn't they (5.5mm bail era) used to be made out of metal? Thanks Gabe, I will order some from Dave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I noticed the base plate cover of my F2 race bindings hot cracked. The titanium base plate is fine. Just the cover. The crack must be made on 0'F day. Do I need to worry? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I will take SG board only. Please PM me for payment instruction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Rode 3 hours this morning from 9:30 am. It was 6'F when I left. I took furthest left lift few times at start but it got closed around 10. I was clueless since many lifts were not operated and some trails were closed. Then, I met Teach and followed him around. Definitely, he saved my day. He showed me where to run and not. We both hoped to ride Rododendron(?) but it remained closed. But tried alternate runs and found few rolling hill like trails that I liked. All in all, good day with a BOLer. Nice to make some lines with you Teach~. Hope I can ride with you Thursday but not sure at this point. Will post up if I can make it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
