Thanks everyone for the kind words and inspiration. It helps me to want to get better. I really like the hardboots but my legs and ankles aren't used to them yet. Miltie, I am 8 yrs old. I started on the bunny hill at 5 and moved to the big hill at 6. Riding with the LCI has helped me improve so fast. If I get tired of hearing dad talk I can ride with any of the others and they will give me information to help with my riding. I am surrounded by coaches who all look out for my best interests and safety. I'm really glad I have all of them to ride with. Dave, if you look in the 2012 New board thread, my dad posted the new virus that D.T. and Bola got me for Christmas. I am infected for sure. KarverKai

Dusty Bottle, THANK YOU sooo much for the early Christmas present!!!!!! It will be quite a long time till I can fit into the hardboots but dada is looking for some small ski boots that I can fit into the NOS burton plate binders you gave me. See you next Sunday and Thanks again. KK

I had a great time riding with everyone . It was fun to see Angie, Jim and Rya. Took a ride with Monodude when Dada and Big Mario changed out boards. I loved it when Big Mario said that I was the "rider of the day" . Thanks everyone, I had fun and can't wait to ride with you next time. KarverKai

Inky, Thanks for posting my vid. I had sooo much fun with you and mama this weekend. The snow was fun to play in and the riding seemed like the middle of winter. But not as cold. Thanks for taking us dada! Oldsnowboarder, Thanks for the "Mini Ripper", I like it . Yeah the trees were a blast. I just started working on that late in the season last year and I love it. I also spent a few runs by myself on the small hill trenching it up for the beginners since I was the only one carving it. KK

So, this was my first 3 day weekend of riding. All I can say is . Saturday on the Virus with dada, Dustin, Tony, and Keveen. Sunday with more of the LCI in attendance for some pow on my Lamar Dragon. Got some big air in the park with great results, I stuck my landings and rode away. Today was the best of them all. Out on the Virus again. Snow was good for my light weight, dada would dig in a bit leaving trenches for me to jump over. I stayed out of the park and hit other stuff to get air on. Dada even worked with me on my carves and I am starting to get better edge pressure at the top of my turns now. It is fun leaving little trenches for other kids to fall over. :p That's all for now, see you next Saturday! KarverKai

Jack, I have a Lamar Dragon 110 that is my goto board and the Virus Rookie 99. They both have that frown look and the edges only turn up what dada filed them too. I am now riding the big mountain with the LCI and most kids I see on those boards are either spinning in circles or side slipping down the mountain. I make turns, can traverse and can get to the jumps I see with minimal skidding. Working with dada and the LCI has helped me a lot. Yesterday I rode the Rookie and was loving it. I am starting to roll the board on edge, like on my skateboard, at the top of the turn instead of sliding it first then engaging my edge. I was even able to ride Switchback, which is firm for Colorado but Geoff said not quite as firm as where you are. from top to bottom with no falls or stops. I even beat the usual LCI riders to the bottom. :p BTW I am 46 pounds and 47" tall with a size 1 burton moto boot in Flow bindings. Dada hasn't bought my Full Tilt boots or plate bindings yet.
