  2. COOL!. I thought I had a good frankenbinding.
  3. Burton Driver X 9.5 $200.00
  4. Toe side look up. Heelside rip it up. Toe side look up. Heelside rip it up. Ect ect ect. They always come out of nowhere. Pull over and let the wave of terminal intermediates go by. Repeat. Enjoy.

  6. http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/5710873 part too
  7. part one. http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/5709925
  8. I would definately get some and wish they were available now. I just ordered my TD3s and would have purchased the #1 option if I had the choice. I just had a conversation with a racer who "wouldnt want to ride without VIST plates again". After having used a plate system, he definately would not want to go back. So, I will bet that Fins version will be nothing short of a huge improvement. Comparable to VIST ect but in the Bomber style, Shiny and cool looking.
  9. I crashed in a race and my front foot released. I did a forced split after landing short on a 60 ft gap jump at stratton. I couldnt walk for 2 weeks and couldnt run well for a year. The pain was memorable.
  10. I didnt take these out yesterday but I will on Saturday morning. I think I will like them. Phiokka shims on the back heel and front toe. Just a little canting. The toe and heel plates line up perfectly with Burton plates. Hmmm, did Fin do this a long time ago? I always thought that all Burtons needed were beefier bails... Sunday River is kicking ass right now.
  11. You guys are great. I feel like Ive been listening to a conversation at a ski bar full of hardbooters. I think, that my new Bombers are going to be a hoot on super hardpacked icy bulletproof groomed man made eastern snow. Which is what we always have here in Maine. If I go to a race, or ride plates in softer conditions, Ill probably use a binding with more flex. Period. However, I have been developing my own binding. It incorperates the best of both worlds, or 3 worlds. Now, before I unveil my creation, I must say that this is only a prototype and undergoing an evolution. This probably should not be copied, used on snow or taken seriously by anyone. I will call this new prototype the...."Bombturdington". I have to do some finishing touches tonite, but will try to post photos by the end of the day tomorrow. "Bombturdington, its PH balanced".
  12. Burton Driver X size 9.5 for sale. $ 200.00 shipped Black with yellow trim. My brother got them for me and theyre great but the toes over hang too much for me. I currently have a pair of Nitro Darkseid boots and they are flush with edge of the board and thats the way it has to bo for me. Sorry I do not have photos but can if you need them. I use PayPal to do transactions so I hope that is legit for you. Im bummed because I love the boots but I cant have any overhang. Ive got to find some more Nitros. Or a boot that is short like them.
  13. Thanks for the responses. And the sidewinder is sick. That does it. TD3. I remember using my TD1's. I could rip the sickest carves on the bluest ice. Yes they were stiff and thats why I could rip on them. I used to ride the Burton Plates when the snow was softer but could never really rip with the leverage of Bombers. As I developed more finesse in my riding, I was able to appreciate the versitility of Burtons, but the wow factor was just not there. So, to heck with race performance (Ill use Burtons for that). I just want to get back to kicking some ass on bindings that will let me do that. Im going to buy some TD3's right now before I cool off.
  14. If TD3's are so good, then why arent WC racers using them? I did some research and saw that (in FIS race photos) most men are on F2 or Phiokka bindings. And the ladies are using Burton, F2 , and Phiokka. I did not see anybody racing on Bombers. Nor have I ever seen anybody except for a couple of guys like Mort (using Bombers) in my previous but limited racing experience. Now, Im not going to be racing any world cups soon. Id just like to ride like I will be. Im torn, should I just snap and buy some TD3's because they look so damn nice.
  15. OK. Im buying some new plates this season. A: Blue and orange Burton race plates used. B: New pair of IBEX plates. C. New pair of TD3 SI's. I used to rock my TD1's and they were kind of stiff. I broke 3 pairs of Burton Fires. Then I started using my Burton Plates with metal disks. Those were too soft, but more comfortable and versitile. Then I tried some Phiokka's, kind of crappy if you ask me. Then, I switched back to Burton plates and its time for some new bindings...... Suggestions? Will new TD3's be as stiff as the TD1's ? Im looking for the versitility of IBEX plates with the beefiness of TD1's.
  16. Dude, man, whoa! Ross is a nice guy. Everyone should take it easy on em mon! I recall that race being a thrill to watch and learn from. Compare that course to later olympic GS courses. They look like ****ing Nastar courses that large pudgy guys with really good wax techs and big lifter plates win on. Racers like JJA, MF and RR are way more fun to watch and are better all around riders. Nagano was steep fast and icy. Great, thats what racing should be! The fact that others blew out and Ross didnt means that he was fastest to the finish that day. Klug is a stiff for ****ting on Ross in his book. Looks like Ross got "Klugified". Good Luck Ross, 1998 Olympic Gold Medalist, and second hand pot inhaler.
