Anyone know anything about this company? I picked up a board on eBay that according to the label was made by Angelyc / Brooklyn Snowboards. "Made in Brooklyn USA" Here's a pic of the board that was on the auction listing: I just got the board on Saturday. I would have ridden it this weekend but the inserts are a different size. M5 maybe? It has a real carbon fiber top sheet.

I work at a ski area, and thankfully we don't have any "snow guarantees". In my opinion, that is just plain stupid. We can't control the weather, so in turn we have limited control of the snow conditions. Yesterday was a perfect example. After three or four days of 50+ degree days and 20 degree nights, the snow was HARD. The places that were groomed turned into 6 inches of ground up ice pellets, and the ungroomed terrain would have been better on ice skates. There was nothing that could be done to fix the conditions yesterday. Last night they started making snow to get a fresh layer on everything. In my opinion, this is the best thing about having a season pass. If the conditions suck, you can go home without feeling like you've been cheated out of a $30+ lift ticket. Hey it could be worse, you could have a season pass to an area in the Pacific Northwest and not be riding at all.

My first few runs of the day are like 'B', until I get warmed up. Then I get closer to 'A' for a while. As the day progresses I gradually return to the 'B' style. Once I get to SWriverstone 's path, I know it has become time for me to be done.

In the summer, when I walk into the office in the morning, carrying my motorcycle helmet and wearing a leather jacket, someone always has to ask.... "Did you ride your motorcycle today?" My reply is typically... "Nope, I rode the bus."

How was the racing this weekend Trent? I was bummed that I couldn't make it. I will be there tomorrow. I've already begun my fake coughing here at work. Soon I'll move on to holding my head and moaning. By the end of the day, I'll be making frequent sprints to the restroom. Woohoo.

I picked up a 170 as well. Just got delivered yesterday. I have a problem with purchasing too much equipment, I see a good deal and have to buy it.

I second that, newegg.com is the way to go. I built an Athlon 64 2800 with MSI motherboard last summer, no problem at all.

Not to take away from the enormous tragedy and loss of life..... Can you imagine a giant wave traveling at over 500mph? Amazing.
