  1. Love seeing people using my top sheet design! Congrats on the new board.
  2. Nice to meet some fellow carvers while out in CO. Not the ideal conditions for photos, but a few of these turned out OK... Go to the following link to view and download full resolution: http://squarelogo.smugmug.com/Sports/Loveland-Carvers/16695710_Bw9XtD
  3. Conditions this time of year are always hard to predict. Some days you think would be awful are actually great and vice-versa. Snow looked really good today after 2pm, and there were some skiers laying out some nice carves. BH should be open for a couple more weeks.
  4. The pics from the races are online at http://buckhill.smugmug.com I've got a few of Erik and Scott that I took while walking up the hill, I'll get around to posting them soon.
  5. The Bionic Man was seriously ripping as well, could have been him?
  6. Group shot. If anyone wants the full resolution version let me know.
  7. Hey, who is this impostor in the ski boots?
  8. That would be Mr. T / Tom (Flock of Seagulls).
  9. Karl mentioned last night that the race was going to be on Warner's Way and I did confirm that. Should be interesting and will make for a longer run. The trick will be to keep the speed from the steep part of the hill through the whole run. Wish I could be there!
  10. Unfortunately for this mostly unemployed dude, USASA fees are too damn high. I'll be there to cheer and take photos.
  11. Love to see my top sheet design in use!

The D-Team race added to the number of people on the hill and shut down Warner's and Olympic but wasn't a problem for the most part.

  14. Got out on the board for the first time last night. Snow was perfect. One other rider on hardboots, but I didn't recognize him. Another big snow storm coming in Friday night, and a huge CUSSA race at the hill this weekend. Probably not a good weekend for carving.
  15. Buck opens tomorrow, from 3pm-9pm.
  16. Thanks for the tips all, I think we'll head for Moab.
  17. I'll be traveling to AZ with the Fam the first weekend of October. We plan on spending a couple days in CO, or possibly Eastern Utah (Moab) on our way out. If Loveland has a great early snowmaking season and is open that early, we'll likely spend a day there, although that is pretty early. We'll have two kids (3 & 7) along for the ride. Anyone have any advice on where to stay or what to do with two kiddos? If it were just me and the wife, this would be easy to plan. I was thinking about staying in the Glenwood Springs area, but I have no idea what there is to do around there. I have also though about staying in Moab and maybe renting some bikes. Any ideas are appreciated.
  18. Yep, me too. I need to get out West in a few weeks to try and make up for it.
  19. I'm not sure what I'm digging the most....the name of this place or their web site.
