The good Doctor Lee has released me from the hopital. It feels good to be getting out of the bin. If you ever need medical help while in Summit County the hospital in Frisco has an excellent facility with excellent and beautiful staff and mountain views that can not be beat by any medical facility. They all took excellent care of me and the level of professionalism is unparrelled. Thank you Summit Medical Center for the excellent level of care the you have provided me. Think Snow

Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. With any luck I might get to go home today!!! 5 days in the hospital is enough to drive just about anybody nuts. My guts feel like someone did a number with a kithen aid mix master but it is getting better every day. I can finally eat albiet very small portions and this is the second round of hospitalization and weight loss I have had to deal with. I am down to high school weight which I have not been in close to 20 years. I am sitting here in my room waiting for the Docs to come and poke me one last time before my departure, I look out the window and its sunny and cold last snow was yeasterday or the day before and I am shure that conditions at the Basin are incredible. I hope to be back in action in about 3 week but in the mean time everyone go out and burn some big turns on your big sticks for me. Be safe and looking forward to riding with everyone real soon. D-Sub no unfortunately Im only 38, youngest case that they have seen in Summit County. It has put a major crimp in my style but the Docs assure me that a speedy and complete recovery it to be expected. Due to the associated weight loss with this problem I am going to have to start wearing flak jackets to bolster my weight in order the bend these big boy race stock boards that I so affectionately love. Docs decided to remove a large chunk of my colon (large intestine) due to a problem called diviticulitus. First 24 hours after surgery was defnately a pain in the ass. Not sure how long they intend to take away my snowboarding privledges but we will address that tomorrow. I might just be able to go home tomorrow also yea!!! Going to stay in Frisco close to the hospital for a few days before venturing back to Grand Lake. I am guessing that on snow activities are going to be curtailed for at least 3 week mabey longer but I still hope to make it to the UTAH carve ses with Fin. Everything in Colorado is in good shape right now, but keep in mind that the holiday season is upon up so try to ride weekdays if possible. Abasin is and always will be my 1st choice, their snow is in excellent shape. Keep Keystone open as an option also and they are running the lights all week now so bring your clear lenses and have a blast. Beaver Creek if you can but I an not shure about their snow. Should be decent. Be sure to post on the ride board if you can you never know who might show up. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! Think Snow

Dont crash. Although its sometimes unavoidable do you best not to. Knock on wood I havent have a bad crash for at least 4 years now. I do consider myself fortunate but a high skill level helps. Big boards are to be worked up to not started on. Its all about time on the hill and hours on the board. Be patient it doesnt happen overnight. ThinK Snow

Life begins after 15m. I prefer big boards on big mountains. Its that rush that only speed can give you. Abasin is a gs to super g dream and that truly is one of my favorite hangouts. When conditions are right Abasin is hands down one of the best carving mtns but bring only big sticks. My 2 cents. Think Snow

Cliff and DB It is definately still very much very early season conditions so beware. The boys at the tune shop are definately earning their beer today. Althought we got dumped on there are still plenty of sharks ready to ruin you day. Be careful and observant!!!!! Crowds wernt bad at all, mabey 10mins for the longest wait but, that was the back side front side looked pretty jammed up when we went back at about 3 pm. Save the good toys for a little later. Holy Crap!! Didnt get in till 1 and the snow was amazing. Reported 9 in this morning and at least a foot or more during the day. Dumping balls when I left at 4 to go to Keystone for some more runs. Without even knowing where the crack is for sure I would recommend throwing them out. If there wasn't a bunch of lawsuits on this one there should have been. This binder is a POS in my opinion. Think Snow

Yes, truly incredible. The 179sc is the only one I personaly ridden but extremely well built. Be on your game thought they are demanding and will reward your screw ups. It is a shame that Riot quite producing boards they seem to have their **** together. If you can get your hands on one in good shape jump at the chance. Thats my 2 cents. Fin Some things are better left unsaid. Once this situation is all said and done the records will become a matter of public record anyway. I know the agony of having to deal with lengthly lawsuits and how they eat away at your guts. It is not pleasent for anyone accept for mabey the bottom feeding self serving attorneys. It is a unfortunate incident and hopefully everyone can come to a amicable agreement but at this point in the game the opposition is going for the throat and that is what they are paid to do. Lawsuits are time consuming, disruptive, expensive, and take over you life, everything else becomes secondary because you cant get you mind off the fact that this thing your are dealing with could severly impact you life and business as you know it. I know our curisoity sometimes is overwhelming but lets please leave this alone. Fin, I hope this ends soon so that you get back to business as usual without the hugh gut wrenching distraction and hopefully a agreement that everyone can live with will be reached soon. Just when you thought everything was going smooth!!!! No god damit Im the best there ever was. Isnt the internet beautiful, everyone can just blaze away. It seems recently that the boiling point has been lowered and people are pegging the meter. Opinions are strong among this group but sometimes we should just sit back take a breath and say F*** it. Keep in mind that people come here for infomation and advice and some of theses people are kids. I personaly think that some of the rethoric on this site goes way over the top. Everyone RELAX!!! I really enjoyed riding with all of you this past couple of days. Also, thanks Bola and Thor for the use of some bad ass boards. Rode a SG with a Hangle plate, NICE RIDE, that thing was a cruise missle. Don't know anything about them other than whats on the web site but definately a worthy ride.
