  1. el base dento + el gnar schralpo
  2. Really nice board; i'd keep riding if not for my new Kessler; i rode it for half of a season because i replaced my old slalom board has a good amount of topsheet scratches; nothing affecting performance no chips or delamination. Nideckers are nice and durable indent next to the edge next to the base; filled with ptex; shallow enough not to affect its performance the board is extremely responsive and fast; very good high speed stability Length: 153 cm contact length: 1430 mm SCR: 7900 mm waist 19.1 cm Sandwich construction multi axial fiberglass weave high speed 8000 sintered base No tirekickers; looking for $400
  3. it's just 3 degree cant and i have the boots close to locked out; it's a combination of the angle of the pic and the fact that i have a really forward style of riding; not like chris klug forward but i put my hips and lower body forward and down to push the board through the turn quickly. works for me :D
  4. super speedy! check out my expression you can actually see the rest of the course in my goggle lenses
  5. if i wasn't so straight i would suggest we all wear speed suits and stop the wind argument :D but who am i to talk; i compete in one all the time :(
  6. cool game; of course the designers don't grasp the concept of a GS course though; more than 3/4 of the 'turns' are completely straight; still i plan on buying it; looks fun
  7. what else is a good song; but i find that the squeeling voice distracts me on the slopes :( (do you mean "what else is there?" or is it a different song?)
  8. well; this is my most recent playlist for snowboarding, skating, biking... etc... i change it every few weeks; i like it alot atmosphere, shoulda known chicago, 25 or 6 to 4 foo fighters, the pretender learn to fly times like these guns n' roses, paradise city sweet child o' mine jedi mind tricks blood in blood out junior boys in the morning jurassic 5 what's golden NOFX seperation of the church and skate pearl jam even flow ratatat Lex Wildcat loud pipes el pico royksopp circuit breaker secret machines nowhere again sweatshop union garbage love songs broken record Zion I Ride
  9. on snow; i've definately broken 60 (my team does a thing called the 'speed drill' i'm sure you can guess what it is) on a board i'm a little afraid to make any board go above 40 or so; pavement isn't very forgiving like snow.
  10. it's still fun as h--- to ride a board with that much stability once you break 25 mph or so; MEGA FUN!!
  11. i was bombing four mile canyon though (a big @$$ canyon outside of boulder); not riding it in the city :D
  12. i'm debating getting a DH board and setting up double front truck setup; i've ridden one before and it was biznitchin (CENSORED!!)
  13. or you can put another truck on it for mega stickyness the back :D
  14. i know it's james brown, i just couldn't remember the name of the song; mabye because I'M FOURTEEN... no need to be condescending... no need at all...
  15. AHHHHH! my mom has to work and my dad can't ski after being hit by a car..... just wonderful :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire; brand new kessler, i need at least 5 days on it before the end of the season :angryfire whyyyyyyy? :smashfrea:smashfrea:smashfrea
  16. photodad: send me some pics of those stickers you designed, i need some decals for various things and stuff
  17. there's peace between the park rats and the hardbooters at eldora, although i always lay some nice trenches in their park to show them who's boss, especially because of the 20+ of them that will inevitably run our course during each day . either way, my teammates, coach and I keep them in their place :D. eldora mountain likes us more, we don't bother them and we actually ride in control so they don't have to bother us
  18. at the beginning of each season; my team holds an equipment night with a whole bunch of ridiculous deals on high quality equipment and accessories. one of those, includes swix. we get like 50% off, and i burn through the 60g packs of basically every kind of their wax every other year so i can just restock there and i spend wayyyyy less :D GO EMSC (eldora mountain snowboard club)
  19. swix LF10 for hot, wet conditions. swix glacier wax for mt. hood and you guessed it: swix CH6 for everyday riding. :ices_angeSWIX:ices_ange
  20. my trick with the heads is to throw the stiff tongues in them then ride them with the springs fully locked down then progressively loosen the spring until you're comfortable; i'm in my second pair (grew out of the first one)
  21. i tried some UPZs; they hurt your feet like nothing else. i definately wouldn't recommend them for a beginning carver; considering how stiff they are; even for a big guy (i'm 180 lbs and the stiff tongues were a little much; and i ride pretty aggressively)
  22. you should look at head pro stratus boots, i've been riding them for a while and i love them. talk to bola at all boards sports about ordering some hard boots; he has a great selection of boots. check out his website for contact info (allboardssports.com)
  23. watching is a great way to pick up good technique too; just remember to be committing to your turns with your hips and not your shoulders, committing with your shoulders is a good way to throw yourself off balance in the middle of a turn (i learned this the hard way at mt. hood last summer; messed up my knee), keep your knees bent and your eyes following your line.
  24. it doesn't matter, everyone gets there at their own pace; sounds like youre having a great time doing it you should get up on the hill with some of the guys here, they can give you some good advice for riding
