having a sentimental board break always sucks; a couple years ago, on my first alpine setup (it's pretty old) i managed to literally seperate the entire topsheet and top section of the core from the rest of the board; it's a nidecker 153 Fusion series. after about 3 hours of epoxy work it's in good enough condition to............wait for it.............hang on my wall :( try to call in warranty on that; that's one of the strangest breaks i've seen.

Kessler boards rule. I can charge a SL kessler faster than my GS nidecker. Awesome.

OH GOD SCHOOOOL!!!!!!!!! i've got finals in 2 days and i am freaking out........ got like 7 projects due tommorrow; just taking a 5 minute break to check my email.

mabye the board is just a lemon; but i'm riding pretty aggressively, and i ride slalom so i just kind of naturally pump the board now

less stable because way up high in the mountains here we have a lot of divots and bumps; which cause the board to oscillate; more oscillation less stability and what i meant was it still has some good high speed stability... unfortunately it feels like its changing for the worse

still runnin the retros; work great for chargin, SL and GS. today i did baseline; runs about 1 mile or so down the 40th parallel; on my vanguard (that thing has some good high speed stability believe it or not)

well... pretty much everywhere north of the equator is gonna be a little wet in the summer

if you don't mind a longer, pricier trip you could look at chile, new zealand, etc... but if you're looking at something closer to home you should seriously consider a trip to mt. hood or Whistler BC

yeah; i know but there is also a group of smaller riders; mostly women that will free carve on a board this size. as for my kessler: ive got a 162 SL, with a 178 GS on the way from bola.

while i have never met him or do not know him; it took me two minutes of reading to respect him. such an amazing life is something we rarely come across in our time. this is the kind of person that has made everything of every day in his entire life of over 70 years; my prayers, my thoughts and my condolences go to his family. may he rest in peace.

i have beastly tendons :D... until i start running... more than 4 miles of running and the next day BAM i can barely walk. i use my arch supports and my fancy schmancy pearl izumi running shoes but low and behold it hurts... and thus i skate EVERYWHERE

hmmm.... nice boards when you first buy them... my loaded is now softer; less stable and doesn't feel as comfortable to ride around town anymore; so much money, it should last alot longer than it seems like it inevitably will. another two months (i've had it for about that long) and i'll have a new wall decoration... oh boy....

those are some nice looking boards; look nice and stable critique time! :D try to be more active between your turns, meaning bend your knees and press into your turns then in the transition lift back up to standing (DONT LOCK YOUR KNEES OUT WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!) but get back to a comfortable position; what this will do for you is reset your hips and knees to begin fresh and continually aggresive pressure. it'll increase consistency between turns and allow you to aggress onto the edge with renewed vigor
