  1. First runs this moring were very good. It did get scraped down to the ice and the snow didn't soften very much by the time I left at 12:30. The temp was just getting above freezing at the bottom when I was leaving.
  2. I was there last Saturday and it was firm first thing in the morning softening through the day. The forcast is for warm during the day cold at night, make sure you sharpen your board, incase it doesn't soften up. I will be riding this Saturday and will try and give you another update Saturday evening.
  3. When I inspect the race course I always look to see where and how high the finish beam is mounted. Most that I have seen are between mid thigh and mid shin.
  4. I have a 158 that was tuned 1 time by Mike at PTC, and it can not be tuned again I can see the pattern of the fiber glass in the petex layer. I was the first owner of this board so I am sure of the history. It was very base high and took that many passes to get it flat.
  5. I had a great time at the River. The riding was great grooming was pretty good. White heat and Vortech(sp?) were great for EC. I had a great time watching the racers, those guys and gals rip. The course looked fun, not to steep, fairly turny. Jasey Jay looked good all day he came in 3rd, Sigi Garbner 2nd and Benjamin Karl 1st. No US men made the top 16. On the women's side M Gorgone (USA) was 6th and Alexa Loo (Canada) was 3rd. I took the Kessler out in the afternoon and let it run, that board likes to be ridden fast. See you all soon, T28HBHC
  6. At least there are fewer trees out there. Have fun at the Hole, take some pics to share with your flatland brothers.
  7. JD, are you going to be around this weekend? I may stop by Saturday night, I have something for you and the boys. Team Grit HBHC.
  8. Polaris, way to bring the pain, represent T32.
  9. Polaris, the USASA race was last weekend. This weekend it is BX at WV on Saturday and GS/SL at Ragged on Sunday. Looks like I may be back at Loon on the 2/22.
  10. Stevo, Thanks for the shirt, I have it on today and I had a vendor visit. He asked "What is Team 32?" I told him it was a drinking team that has a snowboarding problem.
  11. I wasn't trying to bash you guys, I know everyone that pulled early had things to do on Sunday and Stevo was sick, even if it was a short session it was great riding with all of you. I always look froward to riding with you guys, it forces me to step up my game. If I have to turn in the stickas let me know I will drop them off on Sunday. I am planning on doing the USASA race on Sunday at Loon, if you guys are there stop by and heckle. I hope the CO trip went well, we are all expecting the trip report detailing the on and off snow activities.
  12. Great fun riding with the T32 crew and friends this weekend. Cold temps, trash talk and good conditions. It looked like a Coiler love fest out there, 80% of the boards were Coilers. Enzo had a near death experience, threw a heelside hooker into the trees; it came out ok but I am sure he is feeling it today. It looks like Gleb will be buying me beers for life, I think he knows why, beer is the only thing that can erase the pain that he caused this weekend. For all that are interested the World Cup is coming to Sunday River 2/26-2/28. PGS is on the 26th. SBX qualifiers are on the 27th and SBX finals are on the 28th. I am planning on going for at least the PGS day, do a little riding watch some racing action. Let me know if any of you are interested and can get a day or two off, maybe we make this a T32 vs T28 playoff game on neutral turf. The early scouting report from this weekend looks like T32 hits it hard in the early rounds but has a little trouble holding it together late in the game, shoots were being pulled as early as 11:30. T28 will be heavy underdogs, they will have to bring it on the snow because, if it comes down to a pub session tie breaker, it does not look good for T28.
  13. JD, I will be bringing the Kessler so if you feel like you are man enough lets swap. WV was great today, I hope you guys use your connections to get that place ready to DTMFH because it is going off tomorrow. Later.
  14. I don't know what I was thinking, I had a good two day growth going this morning but shaved. I razor is out until after Sunday, see all you goons then.
  15. Save some leg power, I may be up for an inter squad scrimage on Sunday. How have the crowds been at Loon? I will be riding at WV on Saturday with Jeff and Jess, White Caps chair from 8-9 then over to Sunnyside.
  16. I may be interested in this board for one of the yonger racers on my club team. If it is available, please contact his dad at michaela.thomas@comcast dot net. Thanks Glenn
  17. It is a USASA race. You will need to be a member of USASA and also pay for the race. If you preregister and have a pass I think it is $50 for both races. It is $75 for an annual USASA membership.
  18. JD call me on Saturday if you are at PBR in the afternoon. Maybe on the way home from Gunstock I will stop in for a few BL's. I could give you the inside info on your nemesis, I think he will be racing saturday.
  19. What is this crap about start taking exit 28? If you can't make T32, don't think you are going to be a walk-on at WV, we do have standards down here. The game might not be quite as fast but we do hit hard. JD are you in for Gunstock on Saturday for the USASA GS/SL?
  20. Check this out: Nice little video of Jeff killing it at WV. The video was made by his son. I will be racing at Gunstock on Saturday but should be at WV on Sunday. I hope all of my T32 brothers are doing well. Keep me informed of any road trips to Sunday River or any other mtns.
  21. A quick update from 28... Jeff and I were out at 8am this morning. We started with a run down White Cap chair line, it was not to bad. We went over to True Grit and it was off the hook, it was like a carvers terrain park, very good snow, nice knolls and natural features. Jeff went over the bars and had to call it. I did three more and called it for the day. See you all soon.
  22. The race went well yesterday. The conditions were icy and cold. The open class was won by Alex C (he went home with an extra $200). Second place was Joe C (John Deere). Third place went to Ken B (Polaris). 4th place was Mac J. Thanks to all that came out and helped out.
  23. As of now the race will be on High Country. We will use a Brower wireless timing system. If the race is over early, all registered racers are welcome to stay and train.
  24. My Snowboard/Ski Club is having a snowboard race. It will be a low key event so if you have never raced don't worry come join in on the fun.
