  1. Ready to part ways with a board I will probably never stand on again. Took one run over a decade ago. Fun but way too fast. Just looking to get out what I put in. $500 firm. Thanks for looking!
  2. Please record me as one who steals a quick glance every 2-5 turns when I am carving. Also when emerging after hitting something off trail. Where I live pedestrians have the right of way in crosswalks. Many people just walk right across without waiting or even looking. Sure the law protects their behavior but not their safety.
  3. Got the Nyberg. Looks great for the money. Thanks MUD! Lorddrek
  4. Is this board still for sale? Lorddrek
  5. I'm saving my money for this one. Bury this thread please... :D Lorddrek
  6. I was going to head up to Waterville Valley this Friday and was curious how the conditions are now. The wife likes her greens and blues so if at least that is well groomed I will have a nice drive home... Derek
  7. Sorry but I really liked the story behind the name "Schtubby" and still get a good chuckle picturing how that conversation went down.
  8. Still having problems with the board tail wanting to swing out on me. I have tried a 6 degree disk in the rear and widened (As far as it goes) my stance to 20 1/2". This setup feels just right with no uneven liner pressure and comfortable angles. But I still get the tail swinging out on me when not on my toeside edge. I went yesterday and when the board is not on edge the tail has a life of its own. So bad that I have an extreme twisting feeling in my rear leg when I have to rotate my upper body to keep the tail in line. So bad that when I skid to a stop the board wants to go backwards. These problems remind me of similar feelings I had when first learning to snowboard. I had not figured I would feel that way again. I can carve pretty good on my Burton Canyon 168 when the conditions are right. It is basically the way I like to ride going back and forth across the fall line. So the edge is not foreign to me. I did at one point feel the tail lock in when I had my center of gravity to the rear but it was pretty far and kinda got that loose feeling so I tried to keep it more centered. I do have a GS 179 Speed I picked up because I'm sick like that. The board was too sexy. It has a bit less radius around 13m with the same waist as the F2. But after getting the sickness this board spreads I find myself actually caring about my gear. This board is new so I wanted to wax the base properly. Sadly this board put me in the doghouse so my funds have been cut off or I would buy a waxing kit. So I have been holding off using it till it sees some wax. Thoughts? Questions? Answers! Derek
  9. I have tried both front and back and I think having the 0 on the rear made it worse. I presently have a trade going on for a 6 but I thank you for the offer.
  10. That sounds more than fair. Let me try to find one of your old emails and will contact you that way. Thanks! Derek
  11. I'll be willing to trade my purple 0 for your purple 6 if you want. Sent ya an email. What is this 3 1/2 or 4" stuff though? I will measure mine to see what I have. D
  12. Sounds like a sweet board but I am into hardboot carving for over a grand now and the wife had to put her foot down. So I gotta roll with what I presently got. Currently skidding on an F2 183 Speedster RS. I have Head Stratos MP30s and TD1s. I get no heel/toe overhang over 60 degrees. Been messing with cant/lift angles and having no luck but feel I'm getting close. I was able to carve a little but I keep having the tail want to swing out while riding flat or heelside. I mean real bad. I get this severe twisting feeling in my rear knee to keep it going straight or to come out of a heelside turn. I have posted elsewhere about this and have played with the angles from 65 to 48 and nothing has been even close to comfortable. Working with 0 and 3 degree cant/lift plates. Going to try to pick up a 6 and try that on the rear. Derek
  13. Looking to get my stance dialed in and would like try a 3 degree cant/lift with red or purple bumpers. Sadly I can't even afford the $50 for a pair new. Can anyone part with a single one? Derek
  14. Might explain why 20.5 feels wide with 3 front and 0 rear. Looking for a TD1 3 degree in red or purple for this reason. See WTB section.
