  1. With that top sheet, it should ride great going switch. It should be a fun board, I like mine. I will be at WV on Saturday if any of you goons want to make the trip. If I pull the shoot early I may head up to the PBR in the afternoon.
  2. It still looks like I am in for Sunday. See you at the PBR at 8. Looks like the last show before the rain. I will have the AM, GS and SL so bring it on.
  3. Great fun running with you guys. Hopefully I will make it down for another. Thanks again, Glenn
  4. I'm in. What time to you guys meet at?
  5. The race is going to be on High Country. It will be GS and depending on the lane space and the timmer it may be either a PGS or single lane. Registration will be from 8 to 9 in the WVBBTS lunch room over T-Bars. First runs at 10. There will be a cash prize for the winner (last year it was $200). It will mostly be riders from WV, Loon and a few from VT (Anton and his crew). This is a good first race if you never have raced before, very low key. $20 and your lift ticket is all you need. You will need to sign a release waiver so if you are under age bring a parent or coach to sign for you. Rob come on out if you have some free time. I would like to see your boards.
  6. I rode with Jeff yesterday at WV. It was raining but the riding was great. We spent the morning on Gema and Ciao. The snow was firm and hard and they were both perfect for carving. We were the only two riding on them; it was like having our own trail. We stayed to 11:30, I was soaked through, my boots were even squishing when I walked to the lodge. You may not believe me but it was my best day of freecarving this season. If you have the day off, come the BBTS club race at WV on the 31st. It should be a good time. I will be at Loon on the 1st for the USASA race, come over and heckle. I hope you all had a good Christmas.
  7. It will be GS, and if we have enough lane space it will be PGS. Registration will either be in the club house (room over T-Bars) or the events Yurt near Quadzilla. I will post more info when I get it.
  8. There is a club race on the 31st. It is usually $20 to register but you will need to get your own lift pass. It is an informal race but in the past there has been a cash prize for the winner. Let me know if you are interested and I will post more info as I get it. I hope you all have nice holiday.
  9. I have known Joe for 5 years. I have two children of my own and feel that he is a positive role model, a good dad, hard working, and a loyal friend. There is a lot of kidding around on this web site and the "Joe" I know has very little in common with fictional "John Deere" on this site.
  10. The first runs times are posted on livetiming. Klug, Anderson, and Schoch for the men and Calve, Yanetani and Gorgone for the women. With a single lane GS will they run the same course two times with out a reset? If so with the number of racers the course will be a mess for the 2nd runs.
  11. 163 @ 9/11/10, 20cm width with Vist inserts. I went a little narrower to try to get the edge to edge speed up. Top sheet color TBD, I was thinking flat black. After about 4 rides I will get Gleb to decorate the top sheet.
  12. If you like fruit beers watch this:
  13. It was a fun ride on Saturday. I am a big question mark for the 10th. Stevo are you digging the new avatar?
  14. I am in for the exit 28 mountain bike festival. Joe said meet at my house at 10-10:30. I am at 80 Pond Road. Take exit 28 head toward WV. At the light near the damn turn right then take your very next left just after the bridge. My house is on the right just after Roundtop Rd.
  15. I could be in for a ride on Saturday. I will check in with the boss and let you know.
  16. I am out for the 9/12 meeting. I will be in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx watching my sons XC meet. See you guys soon.
  17. The easiest way to describe Team 32 is: it is a drinking team with a snowboarding problem. They are a bunch of goons that distroy what little grooming that Loon puts down. I may skate some time today give me a call if you are interested.
  18. If you don't mind a T32 poser, I will try and make it. Surf first then drink or go straight to the fruit beers? JD if it works out come up early and we will do a mountain bike ride first.
  19. http://www.theskichannel.com/news/skinews/20090506/The-Ski-Channels-Gnarly-99-Trails-with-Superpowers Exit28 4 (#11,15,26,45) Exit32 0
  20. KK rules! You need to get some cones and keep him skating slalom.
  21. Loon Goons, I am in for Saturday, see you in the PBR.
  22. Robert, You can contact me at nine seven eight eight five seven three one one seven or glenn_chapman(at)comdel(dot)com. I will be up there this weekend, riding the slush at Loon on Saturday and the perfect groom at WV on Sunday. It should be short days so if you are planing on doing anything that requires help I will be available both afternoons. Glenn
  23. Robert, Jeff was telling me about your project. I was hoping to meet you on the hill this winter. If you ever need an extra set of hands to help with a layup/pressing of a board let me know. I am in the WV area most weekends.
  24. There may have been an email from my computer to BV as well, there may be some kind of computer virus going around; I have my guys in IT looking into it, but it my be to late, I may be stuck with the board (oh well). It looks like I may be heading over to 32 tomorrow. I will bring my HP board (176AMT), my freeride board (176AMT), my pow board (176AMT) and my scare myself board (185 Kessler). See you fools at the PBR.
  25. It was a good time Saturday night, I had to pull the chute early, I guess I cant run with the young guys. WV was very firm with flat light on Sunday, I was off the hill by 11. JD, the man cave should be locked at all times. Maybe retina or fingerprint scanners should be installed. JD, I thought the two boards with the same top sheet was a good plan, I guess we need to work out the logistics. Once the dust settles you may be in a good spot, since she has seen the two boards, the third board (with the same top sheet) should be a lot easier to sneek in. A friend of mine always says: "it is easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission." Let me know if you guys are on for next weekend. I will try and talk Jeff in to coming up. We could have the 28-32 URC (Ultimate Riding Champoinships).
