  1. Russ, I see great things in your future as Pat Sajek and Alex Trebek look for replacements........I'll abstain from answering as I have more than an unfair advantage........ Can I meet you at the Ski Patrol Office just ahead of your 8:30 Start tomorrow (Sat) to grab the cant plate insert?....
  2. Hmmmmm.....have a few meetings scheduled but hey....it is the end of the season...let me know if anyone is hitting the slopes... Will be up Saturday Morning till 11 or Noon and then Sunday mid morning and through the day to close.
  3. Great, thanks Russ, I had not checked this post and sent you an email already.
  4. End of season this weekend.....whimpering pretty loud as I spent more time (and money, right Russ?) to advance this habit this season and had a great time doing so. I'm about ready to mount my boards to living room wall like the guy in the VIRUS daydream clip on the web so I can get through summer
  5. Looks like this is long gone, but I just bought a Prior and my Cant plate (as you show) needs the four hole insert to mount. Any idea at all where I can find that four hole insert for my Cant Plate .....any dealers or other that may stock pile such odd ball parts?

    Bindings

For Sale _ 160 Burton Speed w Burton bindings <HR style="COLOR: #3399ff" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->For sale, 2003 160 Burton Speed with Burton rental style bindings(no tool needed to adjust) YES, WILL SEPERATE FOR SALE MAKE OFFER, SEE PIC:S NOW BELOW. Original board owner. Few topsheet scratches and side knicks. 7/10 rating. One of bindings needed bail replacment and machined pins removed and replaced with Stainless scews, nuts. Cant plate NOT included. Looking for first $200 as package. Email direct to me for inquires, references or additional info via profile. More than a few requests on the bindngs. I paid over $110 with shipping on these bindings (more on another pair) plus the bail that I replaced (its good to go). I based the price on looking at an average $100 for the board and $100 for the bindings. I do not know the year on the bindings but they are in very good condition. They sit higher off the board than the standard race plates which I liked. Will move slightly but as package, I am fairly certain its a fair deal in that $200 range. I will take any reasonable offer as a package or for the units seperate for consideration but $50 for the Bindings is on the far side of low for me. Thanks for inquires. Oh and yes, shipping from Duluth MN is on top of price but will review that with buyer as well to make a sale work.
  9. Spirit this morning was fair I guess but it is the last weekend before shutdown. I had the first run down the hill and ran for the next hour and a half without any traffic. Ice underneath but enough edge to hold and so it was not all bad. I had to leave as the sun started to loosen it up so I am hoping for tomorrow to be be better. All in all good weather and sorry to hear that south was bad weather but that maybe some snow stuck to the hills down there.
  10. very tempting but schedule will not allow. After hearing Russ talk bout his experiance at Indianhead, I will be making a plan for next season for that venue. Hope to see a few carvers at Spirit Mt. Duluth this weekend.
  11. I will be regulated to mornings but hope to run into those coming north for the time I'm out. Russ, did you make it to Giants or other this week and do you have any input on what you liked or did not?
  12. Four Pipe actually does run the 5400 but depending on which route from the top of the lift has a flat spot between the first 500 and 1000 feet down the hill...but it does run nicely as Minnesota hills go..........
  13. Package as a whole is still available. More than a few requests on the bindngs. 21. Scuff, I plan on being on the Hill Saturday, most likely early, and will also be on the Hill Sunday morning as I work a Mt. Host Shift. I run laps on four pipe and side hills either side of Four pipe exclusively so you know where to find me. Best regards,
  22. End of season, anyone willing to part with their 169 Burton Alp? Still looking.
  23. Spirit Mtn is (still planning) to be open through last weekend in March so anyone heading up to take advantage of one of the longer runs in the State that fits well for carvers (or want-to-be pretenders like me) should make the trip. Snow as of today was in good shape. Post here if you are coming up over the next few weekends. Russ or I are usually out each weekend.

What brand and model Carbon Fiber are you in.
  25. Had some jibber kids about a third my age ask if my full face helmet made me faster and then laughed...........I told them no, but I get to keep my teeth and avoid the snow rash........which by looking at them to save their cash as no helmet was going to help their looks in that departement .............. they did not say much after that. I have a R.E.D. full face bought about three years ago. Plenty of visibility and warm when its cold and good venting when it warm.
