Maybe volkl coal xt 168 ? I love my volkl cross 167 for riding with softboot friends ? I am looking for a new stock volkl coal xt 168 to replace it . They are supposed to a have titanal layer in them . Super fun ride anything, anywhere using td3 yellow cushions on them.

Yes i am on the facebook page to help bring it to the states. It is basically built on the new wrx body . It has a 1.8 DIT in japan but I want the 2.0 DIT with a 6 speed ! I hope they keep the levorg name so its a sleeper to the insurance companies like my LGT 5 speed was .

I am also patiently waiting to try the new Chevy Colorado 2.8 tdi? Or Nissan Frontier tdi? I have driven them in Mexico and Costa Rica and they are sweet with great gas mileage!

I have done a clutch, half axels and radiator. Otherwise tires, brakes, windshields, etc. (knock on wood) Replaced the turbo with a bnr 16g along time ago preemptively. BUT yes I am always looking for a possible replacement. I really want the new awd 6 speed vw tdi sportwagon if it ever makes it here? Also considered a wrx but waiting for a hatch. Hoping the gas mileage is better with the 2 liter direct injection turbo vs the old 2.5 we have..

Yes that's the issue with all the hardboot split bindings . This is even worse if when using dynafit toe-pieces for touring as they stick out and prevent rotation of the front binding worse than than voile's without making your stance so wide its uncomfortable . I have a donek hazelwood split . Voile plates with the bomber standard adaptors . I custom cut the pucks to get roughly 50/50 angles . The front binding drilled to slide on from the heel side. (otherwise it hits the touring brackets) Use Scarpa spirits , thermoflex liners, boosters straps . It works really good now that I have similar stance to what I ride alpine .

Hey got some time off next week and 2 free tix to use at WB . Looks like you guys will get some snow this week but borderline freezing temps (like oregon) . What is the best place to get info on WB conditions ? Is it as bad as we have down here ? Sorry to post in the wrong thread? Jim
