  1. Jon, I am game for a trade via usps. Before we trade I will measure the distance between bails and lets see if its worth it. Its 3" between bails Jim
  2. Rode friday with some coworkers. It was better than expected with 5" new . Rode heather and it was nice.... Sorry you had to leave early Eric. Jim
  3. Fin, So you can order a wide bail setup w/ long shoulder bolts? That would be a super nice option. You wouldn't trade some barely used regular bails for wides? Jim
  4. I found an old thread that mentions using the long shoulder bolt in the front bail to gain a extra 1cm width. These are the ones that are for the springs in the back in SI or standands. I have a set of nordica tr9 that really dont fit also. Its nice to have boots to go from skiis to a board without changing. Fin suggested gently belt sanding the sides of the boots to make them fit also. Jim
  5. Nice day at meadows. Rode with Mike H and Randy (with his daughter) . It was a little windy at the top but improved by noon , overall great carving conditions . Jim
  6. Heading up to MHM tomorrow if anyone wants to join me. Jim
  7. I will be there for night skiing with my kids. I avoid the daytime crowds also. Jim
  8. Here is an interesting article about local Hood River Oregon Us snowboading Coach Peter Foley that appeared in today sports section of the oregonian. http://www.oregonlive.com/oregonian/stories/index.ssf?/base/sports/1169438120167660.xml&coll=7 Jim
  9. I am skipping the day, but heading up at 4pm for night skiing with my daughters. Jim
  10. Wow, maybe going up to MHM tomorrow is a bad idea.... Jim
  11. Someone has already done this but i am not sure what to order. Its somthing like a td1 long shoulder bolt made for the stepin springs fronts. I have already emailed BOL but I think they are backed up w/ mail. Jim

    Prior 185

I have used Prior 185 WCR for sale for $250 + ship obo. This board has a 14m sidecut and 19.5cm waist and is 185cm long. The topsheet does have some scratchs around the rear bindings mounting holes. The base is perfect with a race tune. Email me for questions or more photos. Jim
  15. I have a set of old at boots (nordica tr9) that I use on skiis when teaching my 2 young daughters. I got a set of used td2 standard bails to set up one board for a quick switch for a few snowboard runs. The problem is that the front bail wont fit over the boots (boots too wide). I read somewhere about switching out the shoulder bolts to a longer one to gain a 1cm. I cant find that thread anymore. Does anyone know what part to buy and/or how to do this. Jim
  16. Sorry , bindings have been sold and shipped . Thanks divebomber. Jim
  17. I swear by swix F4 low flouro wipe on paste. Its perfect and fast for the NW were temps are usaully at or near freezing . It lasts a long time and will not hurt your base. Buy it in the 250ml tube and lasts year. After cleaning I hot wax using crayon method with flouro all temp and then coat this with F4 over that. Works great, give it a try if you have wetter snow. Jim
  18. Maybe 4" of super wet snow by 1pm today at MHM. Tomorrow should be great as 10" more predicted. Rode Tankers with Bryan and Ed for the morning and had a good time. Jim
  19. Cool its the annual ski boots dont work thread..... Jim
  20. I came over from skiboots also and found that hardboots were quite abit softer than the ski varity. You will get used to it but would try to make them stiffer with race tongues and booster straps to ease the transition. Good Luck Jim
  21. I have a set of Catek OS1 step-in's 4-sale in good condition. These are long plates. $175 shipped . email me via BOL . JIM
  22. Rode magic mile today and saw a few rocks but where easy to see. The coverage is really pretty good. Jim
