  1. I broke one the day before a snowcat trip. Lucky I brought a old spare heel and did quick surgery to fix it. Are intec heels in short supply ? Bomber doesnt even sell them now? Jim
  2. I might have bought his last 192 a couple of weeks ago... Call RJ and ask him if he can get more! Yes the 02-03 white ones are the best. JIm
  3. I am another happy Tanker rider! Get a NOS 192 as they work great with plate bindings and ride powder and groomed runs excellent! They are a true all conditions one board! Jim
  4. Looks great Bryan, Glad you are getting some nice days in! I will be back in pdx on Saturday perhaps we can ride mon or tues next week. Having a great time in BC with knee to waist deep light stuff. Guides getting a litttle paranoid due to some slides with deaths over the last 2 days. Sun the first day and now back to snow! Jim

  6. Yes Heather's good looking sister. Jim
  7. No Hills, its florida. I would learn to kiteboard or surf. My parents live in vero beach and did a year of school down there and found you need to do watersports. Good windsurfing also...but kiting is better since you can go out when there is less wind. Jim
  8. Will be riding silverstar this Sunday prior to doing a Catboarding trip in the Monashees. Let me know if anyone wants to join .... Jim
  9. Will be riding Crystal Mtn this coming saturday morning while on a rode trip up to kelonwa BC for a Catboarding trip. Randomly met Sean from snowperformance last year on the way up to BC on the same trip with a foot new at Crystal so we have good snow karma! Let me know if anyone wants to join... Jim
  10. Hey Bryan, It looked pretty nice up there! Are you heading to Mt bachelor now? Jim
  11. Yes Bryan had a great time and it wasnt that crowded! Hit all the favorites and didnt have too wait at the bottom. Rode the Tanker 192 and it snowed all day! You should have come along.... Jim
  12. Might head up to MHM i the am for some of tonights pow. Crowds will be bad I know but might go anyways .... Jim
  13. I will try to wrangle Bryan into coming up for the day! Perhaps a few more locals will come too? I will be just returning from a hut to hut trip in the wallala's so hopefully my feet wont be hamburger.... Jim
  14. Hey Bryan , I was up with my oldest daughter and left at 3pm. Super snow but cold!! She is a future powder junkie!!!! Might hit a day or 2 over this next weekend or roadtrip? Jim
  15. This is usaully what i end up doing and try to remove all the wax by used wax solvents but always wondered if there was a magic bullet that people used. With the large surface areas of a 2k tanker it can make a huge difference if you have the wrong wax in new cold snow . Jim
  16. Yes me too . Whenever I go to BC for my yearly snowcat trip I always end up being a little sticky the first day. It makes a huge difference when riding a Tanker 2k . Leaving on Jan 5th. I end up scrapping off everything and using someones cold temp wax but does anyone have a easy "no fault secrete formula" ? Jim
  17. I would look at the bomber classifieds. Plenty of good gear at very low prices. I would wait till you know what you want till I bought that new custom board. 0.02 Jim
  18. What is the "186 Scott Strike "race stock" I bought it as NOS a month ago, one day on it. 9/10 $300.00" Specs? Jim
  19. Not sure yet Eric, hoping they might open Cascade up tomorrow. There is a high avalanch warning so be careful if you venture towards zigzag or ? I will bring my approach skiis and bc setup... Jim
  20. Sooo are either of you going up tomorrow? Perhaps a little pre opening climb? Time/place? and bring the 2k? Details please.... Jim
  21. Friday morning , working a double today ! Jim
  22. I think they are easier if you start wide and then hook the last 1/4 with a tighter but clean carve (no spinning). Jim
  23. Good idea Mike! You need to scout out some spots at Bachelor that would work . I know with the group of riders you had last year that one of us would be able to pull it off with the video running. Jim
  24. Art it was super both days. Had probabaly a foot new on tuesday. Was getting face shots all day. Everyone left at 1pm and at 2pm the wind stopped and sun peaked. We spent many runs on the green valley lift picking lines through the rocks below the lift line at the top after traversing. No was riding in there and it was deep and soft! Had a lot of fun and Crystal is a super mountain midweek. Rode my tanker 192 both days and it was super practice for my upcoming BC snowcat trip. Will post a few pics later but didnt take very many due to the extremly snowy conditions. Jim
