  1. Anybody got any info on this board? It is made by Scott. I picked it up as a wall hanger. It is NOS and hasn't been drilled. Pretty cool looking board, but I've never seen one before. Looks like about a 170cm?
  2. I'll take the board if other poster does't take it. I'll be busy till mon. Let me know if you don't hear from the other poster.
  3. Still have the SG for sale. Would condsider trading for a shorter board in the 164-168 range with 10-11M sidecut radius and around 20 cm wide. Must be something modern in nice condition. I just don't have many areas where I can let the SG fly like its supposed to. Our trails are narrower or very steep and this thing scares me! I weigh 160 and can bend it if I push real hard. Probably better suited for someone around 180+.
  4. Try WolfCreek! They have had a lot of snow this season. I would guess the Santa Fe area resorts are doing OK too.
  5. I've owned and riden one. I'm pretty light at 160. It was on the stiff side for me so probably would work for you at least on the powder. Board was pretty good carver at my weight. Very fun off piste. Great float. Kind of regret selling it. Would like to try the 159 someday as a general purpose AM type board. The 169 was pretty much like a modern hardboot version of the 3800 169. The 3800 is a softboot board and works better for me at my weight for a powder board in hardboots. Hope this helps. I don't think you would be disapointed in the Cult.
  6. I picked up one of these in a 163. Has pretty much the same shape and dimensions as my 3800. Hybrid construction with cap on ends and sandwhich in the center. 3D topsheet. Kevlar carbon fiber construction. Anybody riden one of these? Was wondering if the sweet spot is to set the bindings back like you do with a 3800. This board is pretty stiff so I'm thinking it will be a decent softboot carver. It has a 125 cm EE and 9 M sidecut and a 25.2cm waist. Hope to try it out next week.
  7. Nice full leather boots with removable tongue plates and fully moldable liners. These are used with plenty of life left in them. I molded the liners once. Soles are made of natural rubber and uppers are full leather. I wore them for 2 season. Have maybe 30-40 days on them max. Only issue I have had was one of the lace keepers fell off and I riveted it back on. This happened in the middle of the season last year and it has held since. Have switched to Head boots to fit my PX10 bindings a little better. Asking $50 for them shipped in the lower 48.
  8. These are new in the box. Black with berry trim. Has the hookups for battery pack to heat them. Stiff freeride boot. Got them for my wife but they are a little too tight for her. Want $175 for them shipped in lower 48. They are 2010 model and retailed for $349. I can take pics and post them later if anybody is interested. Best to e-mail me at: jenintmk3 @ yahoo.com (remove spaces)
  9. Any interest in trading for a like new SG Speed 178? The 163 might be a little short for me but would like to try one.
  10. Bump! D1 has been sold. Still have the SG for sale. Open to reasonable offers. Sweet board if you got room to let it rip. Most of our trails are fairly narrow and very steep. It is more than I can handle on most runs. I weigh 160. I prefer a shorter board for our slopes. Still willing to do partial trade for Dynastar/Osin 3800 4807 in either length. Bindings have been sold.
  11. Anybody going next week? PGS and boarder X. Course is coming into shape. Nice snow right now after last storm and tons of man made.
  12. Anybody riden both of these boards? Seems like the specs would make the jones like a new version of this classic. Would like to try one out someday. Wonder how it would handle the groom?
  13. Any interest in a straight trade for Dyn 3800 for SG Speed 178 in like new condition? Promise that this one will have nice edges.
  14. Starting at $285 Here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220896517015 Still have the SG for sale too. Interested in partial trade for 3800 or 4807. Let me know what you have. Found a like new pair of SnowPro with FAST stepin heels in the garage. Would sell these with a board for good price. Might sell them outright if anyone is interested. Shoot me an e-mail at jenintmk3 @ yahoo.com (remove spaces). If you come to Telluride, they can be seen/picked up in person and I'll be happy to give you a tour of the mountain
  15. Same boards different add. I deleted the old post as the thread got pretty long. This is what I have left for sale.
  16. Pics of the SG. Bindings are not included or for sale. Last pic is of small chip on edge of topsheet on D1. It is a lift line ding, not delam.
  17. Here are pics of the D1 and SG. I think I will actually keep the Elan. smallcarve.bmp
  18. Dupraz D1 5'5". VG+ $350 shipped in US. SG Speed 178 Like new $350 Élan Speedball 163 Like new $150 These prices are for shipped in lower 48 states. + $25 for CAN.
  19. Heard they got over 3' of snow. Supposed to be opening this weekend. Good chance to get out in the pow early this year
  20. Thanks for all the info and input. Just bought a frame and shock in like new condition. Will build it up from there. That way I won't be spending a big chunk all at once. Ended up with a Salsa El Kaboing. I think this bike will fit the bill nicely. I'll probably end up with a lot more that 1K in it when I'm done though Probably worth it in the end. I will be able to put the exact components on it that I want.
  21. Will sell the SG Speed 178 and G-Force Razor 164 together for $575 shipped in the US. Can add a nice set of like new TD1's standard bails with 3 degree cants and purple bumpers for an additional $100.
  22. Still have the SG, G-Force, Goode boards available and the Preston bindings. Want a new mountain bike. Please buy
  23. I currently ride an old Specialized Stump Jumper. Wanted to upgrade to a soft tail bike. Will be doing a lot of uphill and technical downhill singletrack. Want a bike with less of a weight forward stance. I used to race motoX and BMX so a more upright position feels a lot more natural for me. Which frames have this stance. Just getting into this after riding all last summer. Hope to find a good used bike in the $500-1000 range that will get me through the next couple of years. Appreciate any advice to a noobie MTBer.
  24. I'm the same height as you, but weigh around 175 lbs with gear. Board was built for an agressive 160 lb rider. About perfect for me. I am able to ride this board on about anything except moguls. A little long for me to manuver through them, but could just point it straight and go over them when I have an open area.
  25. Ohob, glad the board worked out for you. It is a fun board for sure. Hated to sell it but needed the $'s at the time. Glad someone else could make good use of it.
