you could redo the poll without the speculative answers (e.g. would have been worse in walk/ride mode) if you really want to appease the pseudo-scientists (...to be taken with humour) :D it's interesting to see what people think would be worse, and comparing that to the actual numbers of who was actually injured in which mode. though keeping the injuries to a certain type would be more beneficial for comparison (such as tib/fib breaks).

Just wondering.. are there any racers using BTS? If not, why? Is it too much flex? May be a stupid question but I'm trying to see if there are any downsides to BTS, performance-wise. Most people that do have them say they love them. Is it just because they make the boot flex smoother (read: feel better)?

there are people working on bacterial fuel cells. they don't produce that much power though... they'd mainly be used as small power sources.

doubt i'll be able to ride that weekend, my ankle is still SOL (grade 2 sprain.. doubtfully grade 3). i'm going to be going to Atlantic City that night anyway. depending on recovery, i'm hoping to hit the slopes by december.

damn... i definitely want to go. but dont know if i'll be able to ride yet... i just sprained my ankle Sunday. it's gruesome.
