  1. I'm planning on being there tomorrow as well, but only until noon or so.
  2. Trent is like the energizer bunny. He just keeps on going and going and going and going and going and going. and going and going and going. I was seriously worked by the end of the day. Goods times though.
  3. How can I not check these conditions out for myself. Trent, are you sure Afton didn't hire you as head of propaganda. I'll be there bright and early. I'll stick to chair two until you get Parker situated.
  4. Made it out for a bit this morning. The holiday crowds were definately out. There were race courses set up under lifts 2,3,and 7. I think I got the numbers right. Basically all the best runs were shut down for racing or rutted up. The snow was fair. They had blown snow in some areas which made for some soft spots. The rest was really hard, not ice, but not really snow, e.g. packed power. The sun was out which was nice. Without the sun things would have been interesting. I had a good time, but I didn't stay very long.
  5. If you didn't have to skate all the way down you were doing better than some on X mas eve. I had never seen someone have to push all the way down a run. It was video worthy.
  6. So what your saying is that there is no way in hell of riding this scenario out. Point taken! Jump, Tuck, Roll, and kiss the ground if you make it.
  7. Nice job with the pics. It looks like the light was flat, but you were still able to get some definition in the snow and the riders pretty crisp and clean. I have a tough time with that.
  8. I have yet to get enough of this pic. It was my background all summer. I would laugh just about every time the screen came up. At this point, the actual rider is inconsequential. It just makes me laugh. It's a world class crash though, I'd claim it if I could. Looking forward to x mas eve.
  9. I'm planning on riding Buck Friday morning. Company would be great!
  10. I was out tues morning and the grooming was definately off. Amazingly I was not that bothered by it. I hate to say it, but metal does make a huge difference. I don't think I would have lasted more than a few runs without it. The transition from crud to groom to ice is almost seemless. As far as rollers go, I think I still have a little park monkey in me. The rollers are a blast, for me. I hope they keep some of them for a while. Now if I can just figure out how to tighted up this 14m scr board I'll be in heaven.
  11. It was briefly mine as well. It rode really well. It was still near flawless when I let it go.
  12. My first day out. I didn't last very long, but it felt good. The snow was great. The grooming was a little off, but it was better than I expected. Olympic dreams was flawless, but really hard.
  13. Interested, but curious about the binding marks. Are they dents, scuffs, cracks, ect... If you could e-mail me with more info and shipping your shipping cost to 55345 that would be great
  14. I am so screwed. I can't remember exactly what my favorite setup is. I'm thinking something like 57 rear and 60 front. I think I would lower these if I could without bootout. I think I have a wider board in the works though. I ride with a relativly wide stance at 20.5 inches. I also cant my front foot out just a bit (thanks to TD2's). This goes against the norm, but it worked wonders for the knee pain I would develope half way through a day of riding. I can't even tell the cant is there, but my knee can.
  15. This is the second resort in the midwest to try to enforce a ban of some sort on snowboarders. One areas attempted ban was specifically geared towards hardbooters. They may be enforcing it this year. We don't know yet. Ask any of us here in MN if we care and the answer is yes we absolutely care. One of our best areas is up our a$$es about how awsome our riding is. They would probably choose different wording. Apparently skiers can fall into our spectacular ruts and get lost, and possibly injured. In my opinion everyone of us should be concerned about this new trend. Not to mention I don't like being treated like a punk high school kid anymore. I grew up a long time ago, kinda.
  16. "We're talking about unchecked aggression here Dude." "I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand. Across this line you do not..." "And Dude Shredder is not the prefered nomenclature, Trenchdigger please."
  17. Has the whole world gone crazy. Skiers suck, except those of you who ski. You're ok, I think.
  18. After reading the last couple of pages, I think I may have thrown in the towel prematurely. I was ready to be done, or at least let all my aches and pains heal a bit. I now turn my attention to putting a Musky, or two, in the boat. Mix in a bunch o walleye and some lunker bass and I'm a happy camper When I get bored in the boat and my mind starts to wonder, I always end up dreaming about railin the carve board. Make the most of the down time, and see ya next season. Greg
  19. I was kind of bummed I didn't make it out, but it sounds like I would have had to leave just when it was getting good. Oh well, there's always next year. I heard it could hit 60 Monday:eek:
  20. I hoping to be out Friday morning as well.
