  1. I felt a little left out at Welch yesterday, not having seen Bobble head cam vid. I just remembered to check it out. What a great way to start the day. I've been having giggle fits. To funny. The true meaning of Bobble's screen name has been discovered.
  2. I'll be there for my first day out. I've had terrible luck finding an opportunity to ride as of yet, but it's all down hill from xmas eve on. Hope everyone can blow there families off for a couple of hours. It's well know that xmas eve morning is set aside for ride time at our house.
  3. Anyone know when the park equipment moves off the runs?
  4. When I was a kid learning to ski, we called it learning to fall. The thought being that if you can fall without getting hurt you will by happy accident learn to ride well. Mostly by learing what not to do. I have maintained this view of riding my whole life. I fall a lot. What constitutes a fall for me is not owning the run. It may be a slight skid, a little chatter, sliding out, or a body slam. I prefer not to ever ever ever employ the body slam. If I'm not falling I'm not learning or progressing, your pick. I feel no shame about it. Falling with style is a true art form.
  5. I also want to thank Trent for his dedication to all of us. THANKS T!! I also want to give everyone their due props. The conditions were not ideal, as usual, but everyone really stepped to the plate and rode hard. It seems like our riding as a whole improves every year, which is great to see. With limited vertical you have to make the best of what you have, and we seem to do that very well. I know I didn't get a chance to meet everyone or even talk to some I know, but when it's time to ride it's time to ride. Right? Maybe next time out. Jessie deserves her own special award for hanging with the boys, and holding her own. Big Props. And lastly a shout out to Joes mittens. We definately know they made it to Welch, Buck, and Hyland.
  6. wa wa we woo, looking good!
  7. Scuff, sorry for the miss quote, but after spending the day with a bunch of dirty minded fools at work it's hard to let that one go!!
  8. I'm not to into it myself, but I'm told there are people out threr that are into that sort of thing.
  9. Are you calling my mom a lier? It's almost fact that he was!
  10. I was hoping for a much cooler explanation of how he got the hole in his head. Something along the lines of alien abduction or freak lazer gun accident.
  11. Is it ever a good time Doug? Hope you make it.
  12. It's in the st louis park fed ex hub ready for delivery sometime tomorrow, so yes I will be eyeing every truck I see on the way to Buck tomorrow. At least I know that I'm getting the best Christmas present every.
  13. WHAT!!! Apparently you are mortal like the rest of us, but you need to get Bruce on the phone immediately. Sean assured me my new Donek will be crashproof. What's Coilers deal? I'd be pissed. Sounds like Bobble got a little payback for all the camera curses you put on him. Big props Bobble:biggthump
  14. Clay, I was checking out Trents new boots and it looks like the stock deelux liners are much improved. I hope your liner molding went well.
  15. I wasn't there, but if the tracks looked good I'll take credit for them.
  16. I have won races just by viewing the course, but Chuck Noris doesn't even have to show up to win.
  17. I rode the $12 ticket for about an hour today. Snow was great! I can only handle so much of Buck all by my lonesome though. I left when the sun left.
  18. Neither, but if I had to choose it would be an Audi s4 or the r8 if I hit the lotto.
  19. They go up in the bomber classifieds every so often on the cheap, or I think they run about $120 new. Well worth the price if you ask me. I can't remember which model I purchased. They make a few different models that will work well with hardboots.
  20. I have a metal Prior 175 wrc extra wide designed for bx/all mt that you may be interesed in. I need my new ride to show up before I can let it out though.
  21. The stock liners do suck. They are too squishy. I upgraded to Intuition liners and love them+they are really warm. I used my stock liners for a season and then upgraded. You can absolutely mold them yourself. It's not as hard as it sounds. If you're up to doing it yourself you can give me a call and I can give you some tips I found helpful. Greg at 612-743-3786
  22. I have an identical twin to this board, also from Mort. It's a great ride. It's incredibly stable at all speeds, even on MN icephalt. Can't go wrong with this one! The scr is 14m I believe.
  23. Thunder set my car alarm off this morning. I love a good thunder storm, but in March. WTF!!!
  24. Flat light, wicked fast inconsistent snow, rain, and wet goggles are the perfect way to get a run to yourself. FOR FREE. I almost talked the lifty into drying our chairs off, but I don't think he felt well because he didn't seem to enthusiastic about it. Fun times. Trent seemed to have a bit more control than I did, I think it's a Coiler thing:D. I spent much of my time either going way to fast or turning back up hill to scrub speed only to lose enough speed to have trouble initiating my next turn. Oh, and sometimes I would be just railing a turn only to break through the crust and keep railing and railing and then there were trees and I was sliding and sliding and sliding. Fun times. I am way more impressed by the riding at the olympics now that I have been riding in similar conditions. They(skiers and snowboarders) were railing in this stuff. Extra props to the riders. Fortunately, afton did a good job grooming and the snow was super smooth, so sliding was not painfull at all. I think i was actually gaining speed in the slides. I wore black to sybolize my state of morning, plus I wanted our gang to have a tough look. Trent stepped it up a notch and threw in the gang signs he has been practicing all winter. CHECK OUT THE TAPER ON THE MONOSKI. That dude went down hard. Face first. I think we were intimidating him with our hardened presence. Afton is planning on being open until march 28.
