I'm getting a new tool / edge tune kit. I want to be able to do the edges by hand in between days or after a particularly gnarly rock "ding" run. I had some old orange piece of junk with a stone that kept falling out of it (can't recall name of it). What do you guys reccomend > ?

I was at the Tweeter a few years ago. I was like 1 week away from being 25 years old, and the NAZI's at teh beer booth wouldn't sell me any cause I was "out of state".... umm heloooo I'm over 21 !!!!!! apparently you have to be 25 if out of state..... Well *** me ! I'm 24 and 360 days ! gah. Saw Fleetwood Mac. was OK, but overall was not impressed with the ampetheatre. JONES BEACH NY... now THAT is a theatre !

I went up to Jiminy last week for "EMPLOYEE NIGHT". Rode the coaster. it was fun, but not long enough of a ride. the alpine slide is far more fun (and dangerous) as many people who go too fast or lose control end up with friction burns, or abrasions of hilarity when they lean the wrong way :D Fellow instructor Mark did such.... :lol: Only 2 months till snow time ! it wil be 40 degrees tonight hre in ALbany NY... WEEEE !!!!

always a good ting to have with you is a Multi tool in your pocket and a few spare screws. It really can be a lifesaver, or prevent a very very long ass walk back to a lift if something breaks while out on a run.

yeah, I'm not gettign it. I have my heart set on a Rossignol Team RS WORKX board this year and the 3000 bindings (soft boot). I have my brand new airwalk 154 with snowpro bindings on it all ready to go, but I need boots, so I'm waiting for the 2007 Head Stratus to come out. 600.00.... GAH !

I've got a hobby that takes up a good bit of spare cash becides Boarding. Radio Control Vehicles. I've got on-road pan-car Off-road JRXT truck, 3 RC helis, 1 boat, and I had a plane, but it is in the dumpster now..... Damn gravity and windshear ! Any of the readers here into this also ?

I bet if we could rally the "FREESTYLERS" like Sean White to support our plight and cause as SNOWBOARDERS EN MASSE` it would get attention.

Being paid to "play"...... INSTRUCTORS ARE GREAT ! This will be my second season at jiminy peak as a snowboard instructor. I will be taking on a minor role as a beginners "race coach" for GS and gates on one night of the week also. Free season pass, I get to ride when ever ther eis nothing going on, and I get paid to do it. even at 40.00 a day, it is better than 56.00 a day PAYING for a lift ticket.

I'd feel terrible if anyone got hurt on the bindings if they rode with them. AS an instructor, I'm constantly kicking people off teh hill for bad equipment, or sending them to the rental/ repair shop. No point in being STUPID in a dangerous sport. Considering how these are USED , and show some wear, I'd not reccomend them for hardcore riders. then again, I'm of the mindset that years ago bindings were made far better than the junk of today for the mostpart, but that too in of itself is hit-and miss as a statement. Anyone who wants them, they are still avail.

I'm going to throw them away at this point.

The MOUNTAIN COASTER is almost done ! Should be a sweet ride for us in the summer months. I look forward to going over there to the resort in a few weeks and doing some Mountain Biking, and hitting that coaster as it is slated to be done construction in 10 days. cheers, D.

I too like to think the best of people and all intents are not to steal :( I had a garage sale this past weekend. It was really hot out. I put up an " Honor system" sign and scumbags stole my stuff AND the money I had put inthe jar to "give them the idea" where to put the cash. really sad what our world is comming to when I look out my window and watch people steal.
