  1. OK, I've got you two in line.... I will get a shipping cost in the next couple of days and get back to you....
  2. I wonder why Mr. Beckman has not chimed on this one yet???? I keep waiting for his reply.
  3. And now for the pictures.
  4. I have a set of the purple Burton Reactors size 30 that I would like to pass on. They are in pretty good shape. All you have to do is pay shipping. I will get pictures up later today. Stock liner, no footbed. GONE!
  5. GREAT reply! Thank you! I would also add, maybe it's time to go back and try again (as in my case) if you are riding new bindings, new board, or even new boots. Things change, sometimes it's best to change with them.
  6. No, he is talking about one his racers. Mine is a "BX" board. It would not bee good on the current courses I have seen. It is more of a damp wide carving board, with very forgiving flex.....
  7. Plastics degrade with exposure to oxygen..... I know you have a lot of experience with this Bola, so I am not arguing, just pointing out that in the long run you are still better off buying new (non NOS) boots.
  8. I'll check out the D2. It has very good reviews on MTBR.com...... Sounds like it is the one to get. Thanks!
  9. Are most of you runnning a mix of cant/lift? Or just lift? If you are running just lift with either td2 or 3 are you stock with 3 or 6 degrees? If not, you are inducing cant as well, correct?
  10. OK, you guys have given me enough info to try playing around again this year.... I do have one question though. Jack mention moving your legs out around the "circle". Isn't using cant / lift artificially moving you out around the circle? What does you board do as soon as you get into a carve? It turns into a section of a circle..... Are we shooting for comfort while standing? or while we are in the carve? If you are running a "wide" stance and it is uncomfortable while standing flat should that matter? Get what I am asking? I understand this does not apply for iso-plates since they are pretty much like standing on a flat surface all the time (theoretically).
  11. Just be glad it wasn't an equation......;)
  12. Hey all, Time for a new full face helmet. I would like to get a Giro Remedy but have a question. Does anyone know the difference between the S and the bike models? Is it just the amount of vents???? Thanks! Edit: I forgot to add, I want to use it for both snowboarding and mountainbiking.
  13. I run a flat stance..... I really like it. I don't know if I run a "wide" stance or not, I think that is relative. I run about a 19.75" (50cm) stance. I think I need to add, I run relatively low angles (54/51).
  14. Time to start bugging Bruce for my board I guess...... I hope that improves my enthusiasm (or lack there of) for winter.:o

    Lucky Fin

Obviously it is just me..... BUT, is Fin sitting on the down hill side of a knoll????? Never mind, I just watched it again. He seems to be in clear view. Spooky!
  16. I ride mostly a stock bike (26"), the mod doesn't get out much.... You can pick up either one these days for a good price. Like all used markets right now, trials is in the toilet. Great time for getting in.
  17. I ride both bike and moto trials.... I got started to improve my offroad motorcycle riding skills and now I like it best..... It is highly frustrating and rewarding at the same time.
  18. This kind of along the same lines..... I have been thinking about this for a while. My Monster goes about as fast as I need to go for a midwest hill. There for some of the fun in carving this area is the challenge of the changing snow condition as you descend the hill.... Sometimes it is just tiring, other times it is the only entertainment keeping me from going home. Do the plates smooth it out THAT much? Does it take some of the challenge out? The main reason I am not getting one is I don't want anymore variables to tweak. Sorry if this is a high jack.
  19.:lol::lol::lol: We made a contract software guy so mad one time..... He made his code such a mess that when we went into qual we needed to make a change and no one had the time to figure out how he laid it out, so we had to bring him back in.... My boss told me it cost about 10X what it should have...... I think hardware guys would have a harder time if they were mad.
  20. I was in R&D for quite a few years. I never felt sorry for the contract guy brought in at the last second to design something that we needed yesterday. They were being paid accordingly.;)
  21. I just didn't realize how much.... She said their down time has dropped to pretty much zero as well.
  22. You mac guys can take this how you like, I am a PC guy (cheap :)). My local elementary school has all Macs. I said WOW, tax dollars at work huh???? The person said: They are WAY cheaper, we don't need an IT department anymore......
