bigwavedave
Thanks Jack! Only ever saw the NBC coverage which didn't show first runs. Back when men wore speed suits and pony tails and helmets only when they felt like it. Sure wish they'd still do a races like this once in awhile.
SunSurfer
Thanks Jack! Able to view this in NZ too. I think this is the best form of giant slalom. Would love to see our current crop of racers and equipment on a course like this.
barryj
Now that's a Flashback for sure! Thanks Jack! Looks like Burton's last hurrah in the Alpine discipline......5 out of the first 6 riders were all on Burtons.... ?Factory Primes's? 1998 Nagano.... that was the Olympics Adam Hostetter beat out Jeremy Jones (Jones Snowboards, Deeper, Farther, Higher video series) for the last spot on the 1998 US Olympic Giant Slalom team. Jeremy said that was the last time he put hardboots on! ......and of course who can forget eventual winner, Canadian Ross Rebagliati's Potgate!!

Kijima
I ride this course almost every day! Intresting to see that old gondola is now at a different resort.
