The groomers looked great . Zig Zag glacier was smooth and fun! Come on out ! Came here to see this — with all the snowfall that's we got this year I have been thinking about doing a summer trip to Tline. Glad to see things are still pretty covered up!!! Ladia
Mammoth was strange today, heavy wind, they do not run gondola entire day. Zero I mean zero visibility above McCoy for half of day. Snow very soft and slow. It is getting down compare 2 weeks ago. A lot of surface brown contamination, dust blown from west side of hill. It does not help. avante
Well, Squaw Valley was OK on Saturday, regular spring slush from the very opening and windy as hell. The snow is melting fast!
nekdut
Mammoth is soft even at opening but still a ton of fun. A ridiculous amount of snow everywhere still with nearly 100% coverage on the open runs. Up top is still very deep.
Ladia
Mammoth was very soft and it his getting down fast, compare photo from a month ago. Race course was the best after they open it to public. Next weekend will be probably last for me.Race course
nekdut
Damn, that is significant. About 8-10ft drop in the last 10 days, and that's at the top! August will be a stretch.
avante
I've been to Squaw again last Saturday. Siberia was closed already - no snow at the top. Viva la snow surfing :) Ladia, I am seriously considering camping in Mammoth this weekend. Will let you know.
Chainsaw2
Will be in Mammoth for the week of the 4th, getting back into hardboot snowboarding after a 15 year break, would love to take some runs if any of you guys are around. It has been a few years but I can hold my own. Looking forward to trying some new(to me) gear. Cheers, Chris.
Ladia
I am there. Less snow than last weekend but better condition. This one will be last for me. It is getting down really fast.
Ladia
Today softer from the start. Klimax was great on sides
Ladia
Well last day was not good at all, first run second toe turn and dislocated shoulder. 4th time. Season is over for me for sure.

barryj
Ouch Ladia! Well take it easy and let it mend this summer so you can carve next winter!!
nekdut
Still going here.. last weekend for Mammoth. Barely anything open, only the saddle, Climax and Cornice. Snow is surprisingly decent, especially since it's AUGUST!
queequeg
Sorry to hear Ladia — at least it didn't happen in the middle of the season. My left shoulder used to dislocate if the wind blew, it was such a pain in the ass.
