Hot Spot

alpinecarving.com might be worth a look for the board and bindings (are they Burton Carriers?). Maybe it's the camera lens, but it looks like an asymmetrical board? By "bindings on backwards" do you mean it's a goofy asym set up regular?

Hot made nice boards. Asym would be 90s. Looks like the Spot came out in 96? http://snowboarding.transworld.net/gear/hot-snowboards-1996-1997/#5x4xw53pAAEvWHww.97

The bindings are indeed Carriers. They have a reputation of breaking easily. I would not ride them unless you are a very light rider. The board came out no later than '97 or '96. My wife bought the symmetrical Spot in '97 or '98, and that came after the asym. Judging from the design, I'd guess your board is from around '92. In all probability, it was a decent freecarver for its time. For today, not so much.

Hot still have an online archive of 90s and early 00s models. I'll post the link later.

(You'll find your Spot here)

Hot made good boards. I've just picked up a 1996-7 Blast 168cm (13m SCR) in good shape, and I've ridden for a number of years a red 2003-4 Blast 160cm slalom board.
