snowmatic
Joe D Are those the original lateral ankle pivots? and one spring is no more the orginal one.Well, black screws become rusty with the Years and by the way screws are less proof against stress then bolts! And, I can't understand how they do pricings, up there in Novosibirsk. On the begin of the season 2015/2016 the boot was at € 2000.- but no one takes interests about, see here: same boot on German E-BAY Dezember 2015 Now we are close to the end of season, so all shops like e.g. bluetomato.at are on winter-end sales now / close-out / reduced prices. Must be Russians for to double the price to the end of the winter season, even if not sold before chrismas holidays. Or maybe Russians think Americans are stupid and foolish. lordmetroland
Seriously. How can they cost so much? Is it a mistake? How can they cost so much? Pah! You must mean, why don't they cost more? The evocative, curvaceous shape. The lovingly distressed liners. The carefully applied faux scuffs. The artisinal, unduplicated springs. The museum quality, hand-burnished hardware. Magic boots And, evidently, they're magic. What more could you ask for?
Corey
Racers love them and pay good money for good examples. It's a free market - if you don't like the price then don't buy them!
snowmatic
Even maybe Russians think Europeans are stupid and foolish too. On classified section of Extreme Carving forum the boot apears also. For to go clear, these € 3,750.- boots are now a piece of 19 Years old plastics with simple screws on instead of ankle pivots. As they came out to the shelf on stores they cost German Mark 699.-, what can still be converted (since the first Year of Euro until now) to € 350.- regular price! That price of €350.- (including German Tax) = $294 (without Tax) was including new plastics and ankle pivots! We are now near to 20 Years after, I can pick a Raichle SB225 Nagano Edition from same season like these NW .950ties for $10 when ever I wish. $10, maybe $20, or if you want $30, thats the price such old and worn-out boots worth only. But in Russia they think Europeans are such stupid and foolish to buy back old stuf for a >10-time of price, what they had once price tag on.
