Wow. What a weird video. Really excessive on the presentation. Maybe I am just out of touch with the 'happening' people.

No one has been able to do anything with PM yet. The access is too difficult. Seems like there might be some really deep pockets with this crew so who knows this time.

Buell , that is sort of what I thought. On the other hand I have know idea what it would be like to be in this elite group. Must be REALLY nice.

Bomber community ? Perfect , limited access groomers, stacks of the best gear to grab each pass. A guy can dream right?

All tuned to perfection.

No traffic

Runs continuously groomed

Lunch made and delivered to the lift.

etc, etc

Watched another video on the PM website. Strange how they talk so grand, but do not say what they are doing. Selling something, but to whom was my thought.

Found this on Forbes. It explains some stuff. This will be our last season there.

Maybe it's just me, but they kinda smell like a religious cult. I hope they don't build some huge sweat lodge up there.

I think the religion is money, exclusivity and partying.

I do not know for sure, but it seems to me they are marketing the real estate to high end clients by not directly talking much about marketing the real estate. They are developers pretending to not be developers.

The two resorts concept is the weird stuff to me. There is the area that normal people can continue to ride and then there is 'our' terrain, complete with a separate lodge and amenities. Don't know. Hope we can get through this year and be done with it.

Went riding at PowMow Sunday Dec. 9th.

Sundown was the only lift open, 6" and had a blast doing laps. Not a whole lot of people either.

They are opening Timberline lift Friday Dec. 14th.

Pray for snow and when it comes we'll be able to ride the whole mountain.

We'll be there to do more laps at Timberline and check overall conditions.

Rode Sat. 15th and Sun. 16th , pretty fun conditions 5" Sat and 4" and snowing Sun. The wind from Sat. blew in alot of stuff and made riding the next day even better, plus snowing all day added even more fun. Timberline is open with talk of Hidden Lakes opening soon depending on this storm cycle.

Odd.

Was at Sundance and met an old timer who said if I had a mil I could buy a share... I am a few Benjamins short. Dint think much of it at the time...

But this was my first look at the vid. Annoying to here in the same 2 minutes " 500 homes and not for profit"... and to see Branson and Bill Clinton.

P.M. got 12" last night, so I could care less right now about The Summit Group.

It was fun today for sure. Cold knee deep powder.

Yesterday the dirt piles from the new private lodge construction got partially relocated to the entire area around the Hidden Lakes lift. The entire area was orange with lots of pebbles to 1" rocks. It is amazing how big of gravel will blow around in 50 mph winds.

We'll be dealing with the gravel getting off the lift for a while since the groomers will just keep turning it up. Sucks. Thanks Summit.
