xy9ine
might be a silly question, but is there a reason why there isn't a nifty plastic snap on cap to plug the baseplate hole & keep it from filling w/ snow? minor quibble, but i have to dig them out every time i leave the hill to avoid a bag full of water when i get home. www.oldsnowboards.com
Yes, I am sure there is a reasaon. Maybe a few? Time, money, demand, priorities? Seems like a reasonable request though. I would consider useing them just so I can swap gear easier on the mountain. I think if we as a community start sticking things in the hole we could find a perfect fit from an existing product? Butter bub, bean dip? :) Nothing like topping a 500$ binding with a 2 cent lid . My guess would be that someone out there is already doing it. I do recall a red cap on a titanium binding years ago? I will have to look for a photo if I get a chance.

Corey
You'd also have to cover the 3 slots that allow angle adjustment, they are open to that same area. Duct tape comes in red and silver/grey...

Gcarve
try Dave Winters on BOL Dave Wintersand/or look at this http://www.davidwinterswoodworker.com/gallery/album29 Those are the most amazing binding center caps I've ever seen !! If I put those on my TD3's, I'd probably just hang my boards on the living room wall, so I could admire them.
