carvedog
So I randomly came across some of Bomber Dave Winters work on Etsy. I had looked at some of his work before and immediately thought of him when I saw the cutting board. Clicked on the profile and sure enough it was Dave. They are gorgeous and everything he does is a work of art. http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=69 http://www.etsy.com/shop/winterswood When I met Buell and Rebecca this winter Buell, had sent me a link to their website or something. They do killer landscapes btw. I showed my wife the link and she recognized their work. She says "oh yeah they are in Garden Design, I love their work." In other words there work is stylistically recognizable. I will let Buell post up the links if he chooses. The point is that we have some very talented people around here and I am curious what some of you other carve clowns are into, and maybe we can network a bit and support each others business endeavors. This is me. SPAM. SPAM. SPAM. http://saddletreegallery.com/photo.htm http://saddletreegallery.com/jerry_hadam.htm I sold five of my own prints last month in my retail gallery in downtown Ketchum. That is a monthly record for me. My websites are not great but they show some stuff. I only do html twice or year, or just long enough to totally forget in between times. I am also bogged down trying to do an online shopping cart......I may be joining you on Etsy soon Dave. I know Bryan does commercial electrical type of things when he is not being a cat whisperer. Big Mario ( thanks again for sending the boots - I did give them away ) does construction supervising if I remember right. I just found out from Kelly that Dred is helo pilot???? That would have been good info to have Dave. Now we can start a bomber savings co-op for a heli so we can do private reserve champagne powder tastings all around the west. So there you have it. I know there have to be at least another six or ten of you who are not working on super secret stealth plate designs, but have other things that might of interest too. Post it up if you like. Guest
I have no talent beyond looking good in hot pink pants, but I'm the Sales and Marketing Director for an artist who has her own gallery in Aspen. I was going to post this up before the Session, so people would come say hi and check it out, but it seems to fit here. It might not be my work, but I love the artist and am as proud of her stuff as she is: www.taniadibbs.com My original training is as a civil engineer, which never seems to come in handy at all. :p Jim (Callen) is a sommelier, which is a great knowledge set to have. If you want to know anything about any wine created ever, he knows it...and its quite nice to have an endless supply of wine in our house thanks to his craft
tex1230
I'm a shepherd. If you need your sheep moved into another pasture or far away from Shred Gruumer, I'm your man. I'm also pretty good with numbers and old british motorcycles.
Pat Donnelly
http://www.ziraldo.ca/ About 10 years or so ago I met Don at Highlands during a Pure Carve Session. Shared a cup of coffee with Don and Norm. Have received promo e-mails but never sampled the wines . . . Don was riding hard bootrs at the time. Michelle
Most people don't know this, but I also work for a dog sledding company in Breckenridge, you know, in my spare time in the winter. I've been there for 11 years and I just can't seem to leave the dogs - they are all so incredible! We have over 140 of them! If you ever come to Summit County and are looking for something else to do besides be on the slopes with 10,000 of your closest friends, check it out https://snowcapssleddogs.com/Home_Page.php. We've been doing summer tours now with "Digglers" which are these scooter like things that you stand on, and we attach 2 dogs to the front of them and let you haul A&* down a single track. We pad people up head to toe for this one - it's one hell of a ride!
