Snowman
:(Sign of the times. It cost way to much to manufacturer just about anything in the US. Do your part to keep our local, homegrown niche alpine builders in business. Think Snow!
bobdea
:(http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/article/20100317/NEWS01/100316013 the fact that it was mentioned that health care and austria were mentioned is noteworthy. those socialist europeans manage to produce snowboards cheaper than us. boarderboy
those socialist europeans manage to produce snowboards cheaper than us. in Chrysler showrooms later this year. I've owned two Fiats. Great handling. High revving. Speedy rusting ... My favorite board of all time was an Austrian-built Alp - slantwall, sintered base, and much lighter than the later cap versions. Really sad to see the Burlington plant close p.s. For my money, U.S. employers should be completely removed from the health insurance equation. BB
Petrol
sad to see but inevitable... the US is going to see a lot more jobs lost before it gets any better because I don't believe we've yet reached the bottom. ps For my money, U.S. employers should be completely removed from the health insurance equation. I agree. just as we can chose where to buy our own car insurance, so too should the end user always have the choice in which goods or services are being bought with his money
