Our legs are aching, our heads are spinning, and.... Yikes! The temps just won't let up! This SkESer is going back to sleep for awhile. Holy Moley Snowman! I want advance notice of the next SkES. It's obviously a once in a lifetime event! Well Lonbordin, the painful truth is that this is just what we have to put up with all the time here at the King: massive crowds, endless lift lines, crummy snow.... :( Actually, they have been known to forget to groom here at times, but with several big name acts showing up this year (the US Women are doing pre Olympic training here this week fer instance) they've been staying on top of it. And the really sad part is that a full season pass at the King will run you about the same as a one day lift ticket and lunch at Jackson Hole! :rolleyes: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Next time I will def try SK in the day time. Those lifts are sloooooooooow. Thank you for sharing. And even bigger crowds keeping us from the Cougar Lift!!:mad: You can see what we're up against here... So a group consensus is reached - we're going to walk over to the Rafferty Lift - yes, it's about 3 blocks, uphill, on a busy, icy road with no sidewalk, and our boots don't have a walk mode.... but it will be so worth it to escape these insane crowds!!! Shortly after that she discovered that the cool Descente one piece with the Jetson's style collar does an amazing job of collecting snow during a head first back side slide, and then deposits it neatly down her back when she stands up!
