nils
Just a link to the topic on EC forum... there was even one rider from Oregon! pics will be added, and films soon ! http://www.extremecarving.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4256 Thnx again for all the participants and volunteers above all, that helped making it so nice! A journalist from Die Welt ( german national news magazine like Time ) was here and interviewed Jacques and Patrice ( i was not present at the meeting unfortunately)... She turned the article a bit in a " we invented things" in order to be more selling...but its a good advertizment for alpine snowboarding in a very generalist nationwide paper with very big coverage!! http://www.extremecarving.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=40484#40484 Nils

carvediem
... didn't get a headache I think one could argue about the whole who invented what thing and criticise whatever view an article would take on that if it was an article in a snowboard magazine or other snowboard specific media but that article appeared in a general media that covers anything from current wars to make up tips so don't think one should be unhappy about the article not covering controversial aspects of snowboard history so whatever to me it was great to see an article in a mainstream media that presents alpine snowboarding in a positive way
