  1. Hi skategoat, Interested. Could pick up in the GTA.
  2. Good write up here https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/feb/16/ester-ledecka-lindsey-vonn-super-g-skiing-winter-olympics
  3. The older Titans were much stiffer and not as versatile. iRally are also a great choice
  4. Looks like he's setting this up on a Swoard Gen 4
  5. Which is 30 degree on mine before it boots out. I like the idea of 45 at the front though, will try that
  6. Cool thanks. Currently riding 35/40, still trying to figure out the heelside that low but will try 30/45.
  7. How low can you go on hardboots before it's too low?
  8. Why argue to change others? This thread comes up every year. We know we are very high risk for being hit from behind. Ride accordingly. Start at 1:22
  9. Him (park rat snowboarder teen)-Wow cool an old school board. How old is your board? Me-one year old Him-?!?? Me-it's build for carving Him- ?!!?!!??
  10. No worry, I know the code. My point is most don't bother reading past the he headline.
  11. Something about ' Know some codes'. I don't read fine prints. Sorry ;-)
  12. Lol autocorrect! Great road. Did you stop at Hookipa?
  13. BTW Bruce Varsava had a nice NSX!
  14. Another Miata fan :-) A shame southern Ontario roads are not windy enough.
  15. If you're relying on the tongue for stiffness (or softness), do keep in mind that the stiffness can vary greatly between 0C and -25C. One way around it is to have a very soft tongue and adjust the stiffness with the springs.
  16. Lol To test it out. -19c (-2.2F) barefoot and toasty warm today. Stink test is next ;-)
  17. Except I sweat so much usually the socks and liners and soaked by the end of the day. I would have to change socks (and thick ones) 3-4 times per session if it was too keep the liners dry. But maybe the socks hold the dead skin to prevent smell? I don't know. Hence the question. Should have drain holes in the liners lol.
  18. Cold has never been an issue unless I'm skiing. Smell is what I'm worried about and I'm not sure thin socks would make a difference, or am I wrong?
  19. I have new liners that are really snugs ( I realized I was a bit too floaty in the past and filled the void with thicker socks). I tried them with thin socks then with no socks. Wearing no socks felt amazing, with no ill effect observed. My feet do get quite sweaty but almost never cold. Can I keep going without socks? Would the liners stink more than with thin socks in the long run?

    New wetsuit

First time I wore the Exel suit, I came home in it (fortunately it was a short drive) and got my wife to get me out of it! Limiting factor for us windsurfers is when the air is below freezing, you get ice formation on the sail and boom (learned the hard way a few years back, could not remove the frozen mast from the sail, drove home with the whole sail rigged up in the van sticking out the window). The suit is no longer the limiting factor for cold water sailing :-) It's more fun snowboarding in those conditions!

    New wetsuit

Agree. I used to have the NP NPX 6/5/4. This year for the Exel Infinity 6/5. The Exel is way warmer, the hood fits better. Only drawback is I need assistance to undress. I can't get the suit down past the first elbow on my own! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155128633126485&id=523821484
  22. There are extended threads both here and on extremecarving.com forum as to clothing treatments to resist EC wear & tear. May I suggest you continue duck stance, mainly because once successful, I can just see you do switch duck heelside EC as the next move :-)
  23. LOL Love how he was carving the super wide one can't tip it over. Would be perfect for Ryan Knapton back side EC turn! The hand leash would be good to train beginner who counter rotate!
  24. I wonder if the rotated shoulders and esp hips helps you lock your butt higher up. Almost look like you're riding positive back foot angles with the contorsion (looks good though). Have you tried (as a cheat) a bit more gliding pressure on the front arm to push your butt up even a bit higher (so you look even less angulated)?
