D-Sub
Those guys rip! Makes me want to try again. Lack of technique = poor soft boot performance for me.
inkaholic
I do like to watch a good turn being made on a snowboard. Ink
D-Sub
I do like to watch a good turn being made on a snowboard.Ink Almost sounds funny, doesn't it? We've narrowed it down to just the turn. :)
inkaholic
Almost sounds funny, doesn't it? We've narrowed it down to just the turn. :) As much as I love to see a really good carve, just seeing people with good form turning a board and not skidding out of control is nice. We saw a couple riders at Lovey this weekend who were making nice turns and I had to comment on it since we see so many people who don't know how to make their boards turn. inkaholic
interesting to hear that I was not the only one that noticed that at Lovey this past weekend... pointed it out to a freind who is just learning on softies...llr LLR, Next time you are there let us know. We had 3 sets of HBs and 3 sets of SBs out on Sunday. You are always welcome to join us. Ink

tpalka
Ouch! Bryan, to embed I just grab the "EMBED" code from youtube and paste it directly into the edit box. I'm editing in "Guided mode", if that matters. Thanks for finding these -- the softboot carving was very cool! tom. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3iZfXnh0no&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3iZfXnh0no&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
www.oldsnowboards.com
bingo!!!!!!!!!! Found the issue. If you are in "Enhanced Editor" it doesn't work Backed up one level to "Standard Mode" and BINGO it works!! Thanks, Tom. Still did not find "Guided Mode". My guess that is "Standard" ??? Thanks again. Bryan

We've narrowed it down to just the turn. :) That's all windsurfers concerntrate on is the jibe. I'd rather look at a nice smooth jibe than a front loop anyday. Vahur
Another video with nice turns: Nice turns indeed, but he (or she?) missed several gates. So I'd conclude that one can carve with soft gear, but running course is not possible :D
