bschurman
Does anyone have editorial contacts at Snowboard Journal? I'd like to pitch an article. I think that Snowboard Journal is no longer.
Scorpio
Ben is correct, the Snowboard Journal is no more. It "quietly" rode off into the sunset. It's a shame too becuase it was such a great magazine.
Gecko
ahhh that explains why I haven't found it this season....well at least my subscription ran out and I was only buying it at the book store. Too bad though at least I have 8 issues to reread
Pat Donnelly
http://www.frqncy.com/ This publication had an article featuring Nat Young a few years ago "Nat Young chases endless winter", but I let my subscription drop as the plate coverage just wasn't there. Scorpio
The Snowboard Journal is gone but Jason Ford, former Publisher. is still involved in snowboarding mags. He's a publisher of Future Snowboarding (FSM) which was a sister publication to the TSJ.
David Glynn
There is now a mag called, " Frequency The Snowboard Journal' which is pretty much a "real" snowboard mag and just not an advertisement format; nice quality paper, great photos, etc but definitly geared to soft booters. It has soul. Don't know if they would be interested in carving. But if the article was well written with artistic photos it wouldn't suprize me if they'd go for it. Dan
Thanks guys, I'll try running my idea past Frequency and see if they bite. Don't think it's the right thing for FSM.

ncermak
can anyone speak for the unfullfilled subscriptions? Those things were frickin' expensive for a magazine (albeit a very nice one), and I for one would like a refund...
Scorpio
There's a customer service/subscription number where the editor's list is usually towards the back of the magazine.
RJ-PS
Talked to the Future mag guys in Vegas to ask what was up. They said the mag just couldn't make the numbers work, sad thing, good mag. Anyway they said that anyone with subscriptions outstanding would be receiving the number of copies due in future snowboard mags. If you aren't getting yours, let them know. Art
I would rather have the money back. FSM is just another big ad mag.

Matt Mt Baker, WA–Since the news of the demise of Southern California’s The Snowboard Journal this past fall, we at frequency: The Snowboarder’s Journal (snowboarding’s original coffee-table publication) have been receiving subscriber complaints about the lack of delivery, people having confused the two products. As such, frequency TSJ is now honoring any current subscriptions to this former publication. Simply email, mail, or fax over any proof of purchase (on-line receipt, cancelled check copy, credit card statement, etc) and we will fulfill all remaining copies free of charge as a service to these readers. trailertrash
Matt, Welcome to BOL. Does your magazine have any hardboot coverage? John
Guest Wibby
frequency TSJ covers all aspects of snowboarding culture. While we have run very few images of hardbooters it does not mean that we will not in the future. Regardless of hard or soft boots if its a great image, we will run it.
