  3. a big powder day on berthoud pass found me without my boots. actually figured it out 1/2 way up the pass....got the giant "you're SOL" from the guys I was with. still made it back to the top by 10:30 but missed 4 runs.. DOH!!!!!
  4. if the board is sold as a product for someone under the age of 12 and it has lead, it is subject to this. If you want to sell the 65 I spoke with someone who is looking. They found out 1 day to late about the ban.

    Yo Lci!!

I had libations during and after riding today also!! PBR and Terry Peak...Ain't life grand!! Glad every one is living it up! We'll see you next month! I did see three snowboards being ridden with the tail as the nose. I don't thin that the riders knew that the short end of the board was supposed to be at the back of their stance. entertainment is simple for me!! Play hard!!
  6. an unintended (i hope) consequence of "save the children" politics <embed src="http://www.motoxposure.com/tv/video/JWPlayer/player.swf" width="515" height="315" bgcolor="undefined" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="file=http://www.motoxposure.com/tv/video/letthekidsride.flvℑ=http://www.motoxposure.com/tv/video/images/letthekidsride.jpg&skin=http://www.motoxposure.com/tv/video/JWPlayer/dangdang.swf&stretching=fill"/> Why can't people think before they act.... This is just way to stupid to even think that it may be happening.
  7. Tell us about toga parties and consumming absynthe with the greeks!
  8. EC is fun, but to be the ultimate goal?? no The ultimate goal is any turn (race carve, EC, skid), any terrain, any condition and at any time that I want too

Good luck everyone! Every day that you get to go to work is a blessing right now. I know that I am definitely trying to go above and beyond at the new job. Scary when a month after I start they lay off 30 people in the field, so far, none in the office. For those with the money please keep spending or building!!
  10. are they a shell or are they insulated?
  11. Please tell me that it will be driven at high rates of speed when you have it done.. Just looking at it makes my board longer

    Yo Lci!!

I have to back out til March. I'm overcommitted. Don't worry I still have lift tickets that are paid for and I'm to cheap to let them go to waste. the change just happened in the last 48 hrs. Remember that I am giving up the warm ride by not coming in Feb, so it must be a good reason (more bull**** education, but I'm happy about it).

    Yo Lci!!

Thanks Ink. I will keep the 8th in mind! Things are going well here. Just getting established (always a pain). Rip it up!!

    Yo Lci!!

Man, seeing how much you guys are getting out is awesome/painful. Glad everyone is having a great season. Hopefully I will be able to come down in March to make some turns.
  15. I hear that love is in the air for Hotbeans. He got infected!
  16. she looks a little on the chunky side?! at least she has lots of straps to tie you up with
  17. while in your turn your pressure should be on the tongue of your boot or 180* different on the back of your boot. some variation of that will occur, but that is the starting point and focus. Limit your twisting. I think that higher angles will not help. Quit f-ing with your bindings and start focusing on your technique. WHen you have your technique dialed then binding adjustments might be helpful, but not critical. good technique will over come binding settings.
  18. what did you do different from the first few runs compared to the last? It looks like you are rotating on your front foot. In my mind, this will take weight and pressure off of your back foot causing the tail of your board to skid out. I think that you should not be twisting so much and also be driving your shin in to the tongue of your rear boot instead of the side of it. $.02
  19. The only time I fog is when I am wearing a neck gaiter pulled up over my mouth. The loose goggles suggestion is a must for airflow. Good luck
  20. Berthoud definitely has dangerous areas, but also has many safe areas that get alot of traffic. WW are you thinking of 'Hell's half acre' ? This is from the top parking lot dropping down to the second switchback on the north east side of the pass When the lifts ran, damn it rocked! It is a shame that expert skiers and boarders don't have money to spend to keep an area like this operating. Many times snorkels were mandatory <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kRReSCiLbM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kRReSCiLbM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  21. Willy, I say live the dream and go get her. She's legal someplace in the world.
  22. 1* 2* or 1*3* are the most common. that would be 1* bevel on the bottom so that you are less likely to catch an edge and 2-3* on the side to give you some extra bite when you are on edge
  23. Thanks Curtis Now to figure out when I will be there to use these
