I just did a storage coat of wax for next season on my family's gear. Our club will do it for $15 which isn't bad. But when you add up my 3 boards, my wife's 2 boards, both of our skis, my 3 kids each have skis and 2 of them have boards - ouch. I have been borrowing an iron for a six-pack. I should invest in one. I'll keep watching backcountry outlet.

I have had similar falls but without the breakage. On a our club race day there was lots of fresh snow. The course was not sideslipped very wide and I was too early on a gate. As I was getting into the toe side the nose must have compresseed hard and then realeased. I never really thought landing on my head was a good thing until now.

Did you bid on the Oxygen? My oldest kid is 8 and I was thinking of bidding. The board would be for a couple years from now. The board with bindings went for $16.50! What a steal. You should never let your ebay listing for a board end on the weekend while any sensible rider is on the hills.
