    Bomber BTS

Put me next in line please. Thanks.
  2. Have the boots sold with the BTS kit? Let me know if they are available separately. Thanks, Paul
  3. I am interested in the Cateks if you don't sell the package. Thanks, Paul
  4. I saw in another post that you had F2 bindings available. I am interested. I am in Canada > Toronto, Ontario postal code is M9W6C7. Thanks, Paul
  5. That would be for freestyle gear. I never understood having such small clips holding you feet to the board . K2 did make some nice stiff freestyle boots to work with these bindings.
  6. Thanks everyone for the offers. I have a new Prior WCR on the way...
  7. They must be SnowPro step-in bindings, yes?
  8. New to carving... Depends on a couple things: experience on a board and if she is more timid or aggressive at skiing/boarding. Complete beginner and wanting a gentle introduction, get something like a Donek Pilot or an older Burton Alp. Keep the length short < 160 cm so it is easier to manage. Avoid slalom decks (under 10m turn radius) that force her to change edges too fast. Many older and cheaper decks are short (Rossi, Burton, Sims). Alot of short, older boards end up on the bay. If she is already good on a freestyle board and will likely progress quickly at carving, get something a little stiffer Donek FC or older Oxygen Proton, Burton Ultra Prime. The Donek Pilot is a great choice either way; it is well built and current. The board is more forgiving and well suited for light-weights. Most other current makes are too stiff for lighter riders. They are $375 brand new from Bomber. http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boards/donek_pilot.cfm You can get an older board like an Alp for $100 or less. There are not many shorter decks on Bomber right now. I am looking for similar gear for my wife but in the advanced category and a little longer. Rossi Race 156 http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=19469 Another Rossi http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=19216 Oxygen Proton 149 - shorter but more advanced http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=18934 Burton Alp - but it is 164 http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=18657
  9. Are the SnowPros still available? thanks.
  10. I am looking for a GS or FR deck for my wife. Donek FC II Donek Pilot F2 Silberpfeil Volkl RT Oxygen Proton - old She is an experienced rider and would like to try a different board. Currently riding a 156 Burton Ultra Prime - the red model from ~1998. The board is about the right flex for 135 lbs but a little short. I missed out on an older Silberpfeil 168 from cafercr35 a couple weeks ago but haven't seen anything similar since. There are a couple on the bay right now but I like dealing with Bomber people. I am in Toronto, Ontario and ride every weekend at Mansfield. Something local would be great. Budget depends on the board...
  11. Was that your board on the bay? Shame I didn't buy it here... $200 is a steal.
  12. I am regular but I beleive it is the left boot that is busted. They are the black and purple reactors - what vintage are yours?
  13. I busted up one of my reactors - size 29. I cannot remember if it is the left or right boot. Both the inner and outer ankle bolts gave out. I think the shells are fine just the hardware failed. Shame, I liked the Reactor better than my AF600s. For a season I used standard lag bolts on mine which made them look like Frankestein boots. What broke on your boots?
  14. I just noticed that you are in Toronto. Are your coming to SES at Osler on Friday? If not what area of the city are you located? We can meet and use cash for the bindings.... I must resist a new board - bought 2 recently. There is a big turnout of 40+ riders.
  15. interested in the catek bindings. Please post the model OS or OS2. Picutres would help. Thanks
  16. I have a 164 Volkl Spline that turns nice and quick and handles crud very well. It is more of BX board. BX boards that have a rounded tail will have a shorter effective edge making then a little easier to manage. Volkl Spline and the stiffer Cross show up here for sale every now and then. If you give up on the Pilot let me know. It is about the perfect length GS board for my wife on a nice groomed day.
  17. I'm interested in the X-bones. I'll send email.
  18. Its great to see such a large group. We hope to join you at Osler on Friday. We have extended family who can sign us in. Allison & Paul Dal Bianco. Its a shame that Osler is not as accomodating as Mansfield. Gord set a course last Friday for our Men's Day and we ran gates all morning - before the beer.
  19. How old is that board? I have been trying to determine the age of my Prior and it has the same prior logo markings.
  20. Try a freestyle board and bindings with ski boots. My now-7-year-old son uses his ski boots in his freestyle board without a problem. Its sweet considering the board and bindings was $40 at our ski-swap. It makes the toe-side a little easier to initiate for the beginners too.
  21. It is a little wider/softer than the throttle. I would compare it to a Burton Alp or maybe a little stiffer. Great beginner board and will serve you well on softer/slushy days.
  22. Put me in line for the bindings. I am local so we can use cash and avoid shipping.
  23. There was a person selling Tomahawk boards here at the beginning of last season. I think they were going for about $300. I found it. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=11278&highlight=Tomahawk For the older model he was asking $300...
