I had the same problem and when i got a little lower on the board, made sure i was more upright...thereby putting more wieght on the back leg....it started to work better. but i tend to break at the waist sometimes.
I was at hunter this saturday and despite the slushiness it wasnt bad at all. I had fun carving. It rained a little on the way back in southern ny...hopefully it will be ok at hunter tomorrow. when i was leaving hunter there was some light snow falling.
fact is, some posts were moved, some were not. irrespective of any single post, there should be uniform treatment. the appearance of impropriety should be avoided.
More poeple read the community forum than the ride board. I dont like the idea of playing favorites when some people's threads are moved, and others are not. This is supposed to be a friendly, fair community.
Nice pics.
I too get some chatter sometimes on my alpine setup when it seems like i push too hard. do you guys mainly use the legs for inclination and not that much for pushing like PSR says is correct in his article?
When i was on the lift at ECES I overheard poeple talking about making some of thier snowboarding stuff "redundant," which confirmed the large amount of engineers at the event. And yes...I too am a science/engineer person.
I dont have a split tail board, but it is possible you saw me. I saw a bunch of hardbooters at Hunter, but never managed to stop and talk to anyone. Until next time! for me that will be ECES.
