    ouch

its a know fact that the majority of youtube users are pimply asshat teenagers, who enjoy nothing more than watching others fail. That said, I kinda of enjoyed watching her crash, but thats because I usually cheer against america in any sport, if I cant cheer for Canada.
  6. will you ship to canada? also, will those heels fit raichle 323s? Forgive me, Im new.
  7. i love seeing slalom sakteboard racers on this site!
  8. what is with people not shipping to Canada?.
  9. always ask if they have a do not call list, and most of them do. Ask to be put on the list, and if they call you again, its harrassment.
  10. some of us can only afford to ride 10 year old gear...like me. Hell, sometimes I still use the superlight.

    It is finally here

Guess my girl was a little early on that one. :D
  15. ill get a witness to the crash to post, trust me, blow all the smoke you want, THIS HELMET SAVED MY LIFE. I high sided on my board, got turned around and hit the back of my head full on. At close to 20-25 mph. Im pretty sure that id be a veggie at least. And no I didnt drop/sit on/ otherwise damage my helmet. I bet you dont wear a seatbelt either tuffy.
  16. trust me, helmets do their job. I would be dead right now if not for my lid. There is no disputing that fact. This was done skateboarding, not snowboarding, but you get the point.
  17. slalom skateboarding is how I spend the summer. There are races all over the world and the sport is growing really quickly. The body positioning for slalom is very similar to alpine riding( toes forward, shoulders facing forward, perpedicular shoulders to riding surface). Giant slalom would be closest to alpine, some of the tight slalom have the racers making 4-6 truns every second!. Heres a little clip of me training last summer. http://www.vidiLife.com/reloc.cfm?cryp=010-5AA188D0-5CEB-4A59-BD5C-2 Its a blast and the people that do it are even cooler. Try it out! Lots of people that have never skated before do well trying slalom, and some of the racers push 50 years old, so its something you can do for as long as you can snowboard.
  18. Its late i know, but Im going for some carving tomorrow, ill be on promenade. Red factory prime, grey suit. Mike.
  19. yeah, thats me...im prolly pushing 50 mph in that pic.
  20. I like to race my skateboards, slalom and downhill.
  21. I just recently bought a used Burton FP 173 with race pltes from a friend and I am wondering roughly where to set my self up on the board. How far back or forward?. I am running flat with angles around 60, 57 because of the narrow 18cm waist. I wear a 28 mondo. I am still a little more over the edges than I would like but I dont think im really getting the board over that far yet. Im 6 feet tall and about 165 lbs. So any andvice for setting this board up would be great, I know a lot of people have owned one of these at some point. Thanks. Mike

    Spring??

' my girlfriends name is Shasta...I think thats my new sig...classic. And it looks like rain here.
  23. The worlds newest hardbooter is going to be racing his skateboard all summer. This is my first post on here, I come from a sk8 background and got into slalom skateboarding a few years ago. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. JG a few times at races.(my gf Shasta says hi) I think all of you carvers should try slalom, I cant believe the parallels in body position. I have to say that the feeling you get railing a turn on a race board is incredible, skate wheels cant grip like that, thats for sure. Im almost sorry the winter is ending.
