  1. mr deere --

many of us folks are from the east coast, and there are many reasons

    we now live in colorado

your bet is certainly intriguing, but you lose me after the phrase

"pick you up at logan airport." is there any reason in this world

to ever set foot in that airport again?

    enjoy the east

    we'll enjoy the west

  3. ( This possibly needs 2B in the "Off Topic" section )

It would be interesting to hear from the peep's who looked at the video and read Fin's account as to why they / you voted that Fin was speeding and or a hazard ?

It takes brass wax biscuits to stand up and say why you voted that way, I would respect you for speaking up , and not bash you. ;)

I read sarcasm in Fins poll and went with it. I talked to him at SES about said option, and yes , he was being sarcastic and was wondering why more people didn't read it that way. Guilty as charged, once a smart a$$ always a smart a$$.

  4. Bad riding is bad riding, I would go so far as to say that metal construction probably hides more mistakes than a longer board.

There's nothing quite like railing a badass 185+cm board in a nice wide open space.:1luvu:

    +1

After adding an early rise to my virus, I have gone back to my 186 F2 Speedster with a 16m as my everyday ride. As long as I stay on it and pay attention, I am rewarded with a smooth, fast, grippy, fun ride, and I can bring it down really tight. As soon as I start to get tired or lazy however, that board will turn around and bitch slap me. If you are going to ride big boards, own them and show them no mercy whatsoever.

My Vampire, metal construction, let's me get away with all kinds of stuff that I could'nt even contemplate on a glass board, be it long or short

  5. to everyone who showed up early and with cash for the discount tickets so that I was able to get on the hill as quickly as I did yesterday! So Chris Webster, do you allways roll with your own film crew? That was awesome, thanks.

  6. Bigsy-I have a generator I'll bring. I do need a ticket.

Mark- count on riding there with me and back. Call me.

Eight Four Six Two Three Nine One.

    Pray for sun.

I just found out from Bola that someone stole his tent, so if someone can help there that would be great

    Thanks,

  7. I have secured the 35 buck group rate lift tickets!! I am going to need a bit of help however, since I will be putting a credit card down for a deposit, I will need cash from anyone needing a ticket to keep things a simple as possible. You will not be able to purchase these discount tickets from the window, and they are only good for the day of the event. . Look for Dustin, Derek or myself, and we will take care of you. I am figuring on around 20 tickets, so If you know of anyone who hasn't posted, let them know that time is running out and let me know. It looks like we are on our own for food, either tailgating or descending on the cafeteria/wedge bar enmass, they are not planning on any bbq stuff until the weather warms up a bit.

Tony from Hot Rod Race wax will be giving out samples, and if we can come up with a big inverter or small generator, he will happily apply them to your board. If anyone would like to loan him one of these items, post it here and let everyone know.

Loveys lifts start turning at 8:30 on the weekends so try to get there as early as you can, The LCI usually starts meeting at the Wedge bar at about 7:15 for breakfast, and we try to be on lift One as soon as they drop the rope. One of us or our lackeys will be at the tent by 8:00 am on for any of you late arrivals.

I can be reached at 303-884-3768 if you need to.

    See you on Saturday,

    mario

  8. Well I am planning on Sunday if the rest of you punks are going to show. I have a softie friend in town who will have fun playing on Chair 8...so I need others to ride with to avoid having to go over there :p

I suspect we will all be over there if the snow and wind keep up, tanker is coming out for the first time this year, but I still will be on plates.

  9. Since the unsuccesful attempted mating of my phone and my zune last week, I no longer have anyones numbers, so if you guys could call my cell that would be great. On a side note, please make no mention of the virus around my honey until I get it worked out with Bola and Frank.

    BD6

    Dear BD6,

We ain't that lucky right now, I bent my manly sized virus avoiding some dirt and rocks pokin thru tiehack parkway back on the first day of the carve fest. Haven't told the wiffer yet, though I got it for a nice price, my gear budget is blown for a while. Now I gotta ride those old glass sticks, no more forgiveness for bad technique. Our coverage sucks, though things are looking up. I will relay your message to Keanu

  11. Conditions were really good. The LCI guys would probably call it ice, but on the T32 snowmeter it was HERO hardpack!! Pretty firm and fast but very edgeable. Lots of fun!! Speaking of LCI, it was 30 degrees and I spotted at least one gayda violation

    Enzo, why the throwdown guy?

    Ice shmice, you're just jealous,

30 degrees? I'm shirtless wit my bhudda belly bouncin and my backhair flowin in the breeze.

Rumor has it that there may be some fancy teflon race wax headed your way for you goons to test complimnets of hot rod and Ink

    STFHOTLCIARYP

    mario

  12. also, have you guys tested this stuff either in the east or far west?

CO conditions tend to be dry snow and non abrasive.

    Bob,

I have been running this wax since mid october, and a fair portion of early season has been on man made, or on pretty firm conditions for colorado due to a serious lack of snow. I have been getting at least 4 days between waxings, sometimes more at 250lbs plus. I am pretty impressed with the durability thus far.

  15. Yes, its that time again, The Monster Carve Event of A Day! You can help The LCI and ALLBOARDSSPORTS take over Loveland Ski Area on Saturday Feb. 27th. This year we are going to do things a little different, I am stepping away from the grill, and weather permitting, Loveland will be suppliing the BBQ(They do a damn fine job). There are rumors that Frank of Virus fame will be attending. At the moment I am working on group ticket pricing, and figuring out who to bribe for some additional grooming( I am thinking something under chair 4 might be nice). So let me know who is interested so I can get some numbers to the events guy, I may be able to get group pricing as low as 35 bucks per lift ticket if we get enough non pass holders, or people who want to hold onto their 4paks fo a later date.

  16. Whos goin and whatnot, Derek, are you family guy or solo? If you are family guy, Than Dustin and I can ride together and give Aaron a ride back down, but if you are solo, I can pick you up and Dustin can give Aaron a ride back down. Or we could all pile in the transvan and ride up together. Or not. I've confused myself. I hate when that happens. See you all on Saturday
